Disgusting behaviour from the Ukrainian soldier there .
However, it's a single incident where we see a Russian soldier honouring the fallen enemy.
We've all seen the UN report that they've raped Ukrainians age 4 - 83, the looting and torturing etc. So, this doesn't absolve Russia from the atrocious crimes they've committed, and nobody should think that every Ukrainian soldier is an angel.
Scum like this show up everywhere.

Of course, let Russia collapse, let the USA, England and Israel unite and collapse China easily. What do you think this imperialist power, which will remain unrivaled, will do to the Turkish race and the Muslim people? Have you ever thought? I'm sure they have some very nice fantasies. Brother, even the European Union does not want Russia to disappear due to the fear of the USA and England, due to the balance policy.
Do you mean Russia will protect us against them? US certainly wants us to obey them and not get strong. They want us make concessions on several topics. But I don’t think they want to take over Türkiye or are fundamentally against us. If it was the case, they would have done it easily. I mean these guys can bomb us from a distance for years if they want. It will cost them 1% of their GDP. Russia has been against us hundreds of years and killed millions of Turks and Turkic people. Still I see this respect for them in Azerbajcan or in Kazachstan etc. And ask myself how can this be? I think Ottomans treated people too well. It seems the more you suppress and slaughter like Russia, the more people like you.

In retrospective, Ukraine didn't have a good choice vis a vis Russia. They either become a failed state under Russia or fight with the help of the west and possibly start over and integrate with its neighbours to the west.
The first choice was not an option at this point.
Nato seized this opportunity to weaken Russia and rightly so,Russia fell for it driven by an false sense of pride and grandeur. Russia passed the "Rubicon",but unlike Caesar, they will not reach their objective.
Ukraine is the victim,Russia is the big looser and th Eu has been caught off guard regarding its energy security. Eu will recover, but Ukraine and Russia will never be the same.
Believe me Ukraine will also recover big time. Russia will never be the same.

Yes, crazy. This shows how crazy and unethical a mentality we are dealing with. These lunatics are rotten to their DNA, they don't do anything right. But they're also extremely spoiled because they have weapons of mass destruction.
Technology will improve. Russia must be sanctioned forever. China as well in terms of critical technology. There will come a time when laser or some other variant will eliminate all ICBMs. Russia won’t be able to keep up. If the West stops running after small things like gas to get warm, they have a millennial opportunity to get rid of Russia forever.

Who owns this forum? Why are they here so many Turks speaking English? Who determines who is the moderator, country correspondent etc?

Admins and founders all agreed to English to make things easier.

Send them a message they will explain it.

This forum is not just for Turks but for everybody.

I actually think Ukraine will come out stronger after this. From being seen as an inconsequential state on the fringes of europe, they will have transformed into a serious and important nation.

I just hope the EU doesn't work to destroy Turkiye relationship with this nation. Ukraine is a great opportunity for Turkiye, i hope we do everything to expand our ties with that nation.
One of the most observant and realistic and insightful comment I’ve seen anywhere lately!
Wont take any credit from your comment but I see it the same way: Ukraine will come on top (battered, bruised but on top) and will get merry on his way with the financial aid, investment and unsurpassed political support from the West.
Meanwhile, like you said, the West, The US in particular, will want to exclude Turkey from any kind of relations (economic, militar, political and so on) as much as they can as since they are steadily moving Turkey to a pariah state level.
Therefore when I hear any average Mehmet believing that Turkish companies help rebuild post-war Ukraine, I say “in your dreams” :sneaky:

I don't know the answer to any of these questions. Simply because I don't think it's important.
What's important to me is to have such a great platform where I can share my thoughts in matters of defence and keep up with the developments.
It's not everybody's cup of tea but I like it.

Unless we get shrewd diplomates and politicians its very possible within the next 10 years that we are portrayed as the new Iran to the world. America and the EU look to undermine us and dehumanise us at every opportunity, while supporting terrorist factions against us. The anti-Islam narrative has only been ratcheting up since 9/11, though we got a break from it during covid, but its back in full swing again.

People like erdogan and AK party made it very easy for their propaganda to take hold. On the one hand they are talking about a potential war against greece while on the other they made a big song and dance about turning the agia sophia into a mosque, which the west used as a properganda tool to show the Turks and Muslims as enemies of the west and the Christian world.

If its me and a potential war is on the cards against greece, i turn that building into a church. This is real politics.

It is pretty noticeable that the people who have this kind political view will always find the way to ultimately blame Erdoğan, somehow no matter how bad outside factors are it is Erdoğan who is ultimately to blame . So those other factors are lesser of 2 evils. This is practical repeated in any forum, any topic and if there is no obvious reason, it is quickly found.
Even this post is a contradiction in itself, complaining about Islamophobia while being an islamophob personally.

How can I be an islamophobe when I'm a Muslim? I even come from a family here in the UK that was responsible for helping finance the construction of mosques here. Actually my family has probably done more for the dawah cause then most. Ironically the people who have treated me as the biggest enemy have been political islamists.

People like you are ignorant of the world and how it operates. Keep your sectarian agenda's to yourselves. Erdogan is a disaster that has played the Islam card to turn him and his cronies into billionaires at the expense of the nation.

Islamic charlatans are nothing new, wherever you look you see them operating whether it iran, saudi arabia or pakistan. They are nothing new, in Turkey they almost always come out of the non-Turk minorities who realise that islam is the quickest and easiest way to make a buck.

Only devils fear the truth. As a Muslim i could never tolerate evil and i'm to wise to fall for cheap tricks.

BTW mehmed ali pasha was an Ottoman traitor who stabbed the Turks in the back. Turks turned him from a peasant into a ruler only for him to turn on the Ottomans.
