There is a lots of arms embargo on Turkey , some are written and some are unwritten . Himers missiles are war proved , accurate and effective .
Can Turkey imports this missiles from USA , does Turkey posses some ?

Turkey bought ATACMS in the 90s. I believe technology transfer was requested, but it was rejected.

Currently, TRG-230 and TRG-300 are the closest things to a domestic HIMARS. Accuracy is similar but range is less. However, ranges will likely be boosted with new variants.

Also Turkiye can easily obtain a much more deadly system than HIMARS by integrating a solid fuel missile engine into its TUBİTAK SAGE's Kuzgun guided munitions. While HIMARS can approach the target from only one direction, the Kuzguns thrown in this manner can attack the target from any angle and with swarm AI coordination. Turkiye has now exceeded the HIMARS level.

Again, our country has Black Atmaca and Som missiles with the same range as Himars.

Although there is no official statement about the product on some defense industry sites, it is written that a longer range missile was made after the Bora Missile, but this weapon was kept secret, referring to the words of some officials.

Maybe the President Erdogan government is comfortable with Greece because of this secondary missile!

Range is not a concern , concern is its ability to work, accuracy, guidenc system and quick mobility. In a conflict with Greece, US may provide Greece with HIMERS.

Do not worry about the effectiveness of Türkiye defense industry products.

We have more than the USA in terms of artillery rockets, we have no shortage. Our industry is constantly renewing and improving its products.

Let me give you an example, the anti-interference gps antenna was jointly developed by two Türkiye and US companies. That is, the USA and Türkiye use the same advanced level of GPS sensors.

What makes HIMARS so deadly is :
1. It’s manoeuvring capability to evade AD systems whilst in flight
2. Pin point accuracy
HIMARS missiles vary in size and range. The long range ones are ATACMS missiles with 610mm diameter have a range of 300km. Only one missile is carried per vehicle.
But main armament of the HIMARS is 227mm 90km range rockets.
Their 150 km range ER version are still being developed and won’t be operational until 2025.

Turkey has TRG and TRLG artillery rockets. These come in:
122mm diameter : 35-40km range
230mm diameter : 70km range
300mm diameter : 150km range

TRG version are INS and GPS guided (INS only version updated for higher accuracy)
TRLG version are laser guided

We know that they are very accurate and are not susceptible to jamming.
But we don’t know if they can manoeuvre to evade AD systems.
