Greek Foreign Minister Dendias:

“Suppose Turkey succeeded in persuading US to modernize F-16. When Turkiye receives the first modernized F-16s, Greece will have 83 F-16 Block 70s and 24 Rafales and will receive the first F-35s.”

Greece will only get F35s sometime after 2028, which is around the time Turkey will start to get its first TFX fighters. According to Temel Kotil, 24 TF-X jets will be produced every year this means that Turkey will have 4 more 5-gen fighters than Greece within the first year of production. The Hellenic air force is only planning to purchase 20 F35 jets for 2028 further purchases of more F35 jets will probably be delayed, thus giving turkey the ability to tip the scales of power in its favour within 2 years. I should also mention that by the time, the F35 are handed over to the Hellenic air force, the Kizilelma drone is expected to have been operating in the inventory of the Turkish air force for 3 years by that point.

I feel it is important to point out that one year before Greece gets the F35s the first TF 2000-class destroyer is meant to be operational. during the same year that the f35 will be handed over, the 3 Istanbul-class frigates equipped with the Hisar system should be given to the Turkish navy (assuming it will take 5 years to build them). I believe by that point, Turkey's unmanned surface vehicles will probably have matured to a point that they might be equipped with their own anti-air warfare system. I believe that the sea platforms equipped with anti-air defences will also affect the balance of power in the Aegean sea.

Until then, how many tayfun, bora and cenk missiles we are going to have should be a greater question mark for the Greeks.

"by the time you have all your own inhouse R&D, production and indigenous industry, we'll be spending more EU loan money on equipment we can't build ourselves and will remain a nation conquered by the west without a single shot fired"

Greece is not planing full scale war, they could never win from us. They are calculating to hit us hard possible and end the war with much gain. In this case we should make our airdefence stronger, more cruisemissiles, radar, long range BM, war ships, my favorite drones. Greece is nothing when it comes to EW, artillery rockets, what they don't have. They are over ther limits.

The air superiority in this case will not help Greece much, againg ther doctrine is not long war with us. Hit hard and cry to EU and US.

Actually they consider an unexpected Hard attack in a short period of time. Of course our air defense systems should be able to counter that.
However, in case of any possible inflicted damage, there should not be any air base and military base in close islands after as a result of "offense".

The second the war begins, all the airbases in greece will be destroyed by BMs. So they can stick their rafale up their ass :D

If they ever decide to pull that stunt we shouldn't end it until the only thing left of contemporary Greece is a submissive puppet state that obeys eagerly to our every whim.
One who's UN ambassador is picked by us, one who's money is printed by us, one who's obliged to pay reparations to us etc... You get the idea.
