You know there was a time when i looked into the claim that the bolsheviks/communists were predominately jews. I remember discovering something along the lines that the top 100 involved in the revolution only about 13 were jews.
Here is the work of modern Russian fascists. They changed the propaganda poster of the Reds during the Civil War.

Russian fascists are abandoning the Soviet legacy. Tsar Nicholas II is considered the true ruler. A conspiracy of Jews is considered the culprit of the defeat in the First World War and the beginning of the Civil War. That is, internationalism, the struggle against the colonialists, waged by the Soviet Union, is considered wrong wars. The last time the USSR waged such a war was in 1989 in Angola against South Africa, as well as the invasion of Afghanistan.
Therefore, some countries that are grateful to the Soviet Union for help from liberation from European colonialists may have warm feelings for Russia. These are India, China, Cuba. They should thank the Jews, not the Russians, who have always been and remain xenophobes.

Ukrainian pilots to master Typhoon faster than usual - Zelensky
1675887052497.png

Ukrainian pilots will learn how to fly British Typhoon fighters six months faster than this process usually takes. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at a joint press conference with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

The head of the British government, in turn, stressed that the training of Ukrainian pilots is the first step towards the supply of fighters to Ukraine.

Sunak also commented on the possible transfer of Typhoon. According to him, Britain now does not rule out anything on the issue of military assistance.

"We are negotiating with our allies," he concluded.

Recall that the British government is considering the possibility of providing Ukraine with fighter jets. But this decision will not be made in the short term.

Johnson called on Britain to provide fighter jets to Ukraine

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson called on the country to provide Ukraine with fighter jets and tanks as they are needed to defeat Vladimir Putin. It is reported by Sky News.

It is time the UK gives Ukrainian troops the extra equipment they need to "defeat Putin and restore peace" to the country, former PM Boris Johnson has said.

Speaking on the military support needed to help Ukraine in its fight with Russia, Mr Johnson urged Rishi Sunak to supply Ukraine with jets and more tanks.

He said: "We have more than 100 Typhoon jets. We have more than 100 Challenger 2 tanks.

"The best single use for any of these items is to deploy them now for the protection of the Ukrainians - not least because that is how we guarantee our own long-term security."

The Tory MP went on to say that the investment would help push Mr Putin back and "make our world safer".

"Now is the time to give them exactly what they need to finish the job," he added.

Mr Johnson's call reiterates comments he made during a tour of the US last week in which he called for the West to send F-35s and Typhoons to Kyiv.

The repeated call also comes in the wake of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's speech at Westminster Hall today.

Mr Zelensky used an address to parliament to call for more fighter jets and said he wanted a coalition of nations to supply planes.

However, Mr Sunak continues to resist calls for fighter jets, with the PM's spokesman saying it would take years to train pilots to fly the jets.

Yuri Knutov, military historian, director of the Air Defense Museum, retired colonel, claims that Russia has the means to cope with Western tanks. He names missiles, Msta artillery of the latest modification, the barrel of which wears out more slowly, because without a chrome coating, also anti-tank mines. Proposes to make an analogue of the Battle of Kursk with the Germans in 1943. He says that Msta can strike with heavy fire, that is, shoot 10 times with an interval of 10 seconds, hitting the same place. He also says that there is a technology that allows you to hit with a double projectile: the first projectile neutralizes active armor, the second projectile pierces the armor.
But as for the F-16, he did not find any opposition. He says that the use of aircraft and shells with depleted uranium could provoke Russia to use tactical nuclear weapons. He names the target: a tunnel under the Carpathian Mountains. They will give an ultimatum within 72 hours to leave the civilian population of the specified area and strike at it. But the use of nuclear weapons will put China and India from sympathizers to hostile countries. The West is pushing for it.

Seymour Hersh claims the US Navy blew up the Nord Stream pipelines. Not too surprisingly but there are some interesting details. The NYT and others have articles on it but the best one IMO is by Eugyppius:

Seymour Hersh on the American "covert sea operation" to destroy the Nord Stream pipelines

The Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist has the story from a single high-level anonymous source, and it's not without problems.

For months, the Nord Stream story has lain dormant; investigations have yielded no news, except to confirm the obvious sabotage. Only the occasional delighted remarks by American officials have made headlines in the meantime. All of that changed seven hours ago, when Seymour Hersh posted a lengthy Substack article on How America Took Out The Nord Stream Pipeline.

Hersh has a high-level anonymous source, who alleges that the attack was conceived by the Biden administration in late 2021, and carried out by U.S. Navy divers from their Diving and Salvage Center in Panama City in collaboration with Norway. Explosive charges were allegedly attached to the pipelines during the June BALTOPS 22 naval exercises in the region. The plan was originally to use timed explosives, but the administration opted at the last minute instead for a trigger mechanism that could be set off with a sonar buoy. This buoy, according to Hersh, was dropped by a Norwegian navy plane on 26 September 2022, triggering the explosions.

The story appears poised to make it into major media; as I type this, it’s already been picked up by the Times and Reuters.

As always, you should read Hersh’s piece and make up your own mind. I confess to some substantial reservations. As written, the account is broadly plausible, particularly in light of the open and blunt statements of American officials, but it also seems, at the very least, incomplete.

I’m having particular problems with this part of Hersh’s reporting:

The Norwegian navy was quick to find the right spot, in the shallow waters of the Baltic sea a few miles off Denmark’s Bornholm Island. The pipelines ran more than a mile apart along a seafloor that was only 260 feet deep. That would be well within the range of the divers …
The C4 attached to the pipelines would be triggered by a sonar buoy dropped by a plane on short notice, but the procedure involved the most advanced signal processing technology. …
On September 26, 2022, a Norwegian Navy P8 surveillance plane made a seemingly routine flight and dropped a sonar buoy. The signal spread underwater, initially to Nord Stream 2 and then on to Nord Stream 1. A few hours later, the high-powered C4 explosives were triggered and three of the four pipelines were put out of commission. …
Remember that there were actually two distinct explosions – the first one to the south, on Pipe A of Nord Stream 2 alone, at 2:03 in the morning; and the second on both Nord Stream 1 pipes and again on Pipe A of Nord Stream 2, at a separate location miles to the north and exactly seventeen hours later, at 19:03:

Nord Stream gas leaks 2022.svg
Hersh’s article, describing explosives laid at a location where both Nord Stream pipes ran parallel, seems to be only about the second, more northerly attack. This is a fairly glaring omission in a piece full of very precise details on other matters, including other operational specifics.

I also wonder about the source’s claim that Biden and Nuland, via early statements that the US would block Nord Stream 2 in the event of a Russian invasion, effectively “downgraded” the action from a covert operation requiring Congressional oversight to a lower-level merely classified action that dispensed planners of having to seek such approval. Perhaps that’s totally believable, but I need more persuading here. The avoidance of Congressional oversight is a recurrent theme in the piece; it’s also allegedly why US Navy divers, rather than special forces, were chosen to carry out the operation. One could argue that, with these claims, Hersh’s source is simply trying to make his story robust to falsification by the House and Senate leadership.

UPDATE: The story is now making its way into the German press. This t-online article gives a hint of how they’ll try to downplay it:

The Russian propaganda outlet Russia Today was one of the first to pick up the literally and politically explosive story. On Twitter, the Kremlin loyalists claimed: “American investigative journalist and former NYT writer Seymour Hersh has published an explosive article on who is behind the mysterious explosion that destroyed the Russian Nord Stream gas pipeline.”
The ex-DDR tabloid Berliner Kurier meanwhile leads with Seymour Hersh’s investigative reporting credentials, and Sahra Wagenknecht’s essential endorsement of his reporting.

It's possible that it was the US. However, I do have some issues with the article:
1. what the author refers to as "indirect references to the attack" when Biden stated that that if Russia invades there will be no NS2 was a completely normal statement in the context. Putin believed that Russia would win fast enough that Germany would find it pointless to sanction NS2 after the fact. The US at the time also believed that Russia would quickly win. When Biden made this statement, immediately after meeting with Scholz, it is more likely that what was meant was that Scholz and Biden arrived at an agreement that in the event of an invasion NS2 would be cancelled.
2. one of the theories for why Russia could have sabotaged NS2 is to get out of contracts for supplying gas to Europe. This would have been used as part of its overall plan of restricting gas to drive up prices, hurt European countries' economies and foster discontent and political upheaval/change (this much is fact rather than theory). Immediately after NS2's sabotage gas prices rose 12%. And later Russia used the excuse of maintenance on other pipelines to stop gas flows in order to threaten specific countries while at the same time further driving up gas prices. Eventually it was Russia that chose to stop supplying gas to most of the European market, even before sanctions came into effect. I do find it disingenuous on the part of the author that he neglects to address or even mention any of this, despite obviously having been aware of the theory.
3. the author seems to have an extraordinary amount of knowledge that I have no idea how he would privy to. At the same time he seems to be known for conspiracy theories and drawing heavily on anonymous sources, according to a quick read of his wiki

But yes, it's certainly possible that it was the US.

Russia has lost its 10th General since the beginning of the war. 44 year old Major-General, Dmitry Ulyanov was killed in a firefight with a Ukrainian sabotage unit. Ulyanov was considered to be an elite paratrooper, who previously commanded the 98th Airborne Guards Division.

In Russia, the adherents of National Socialism are not random people, but politicians and the entire mass of Central Russia, in the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg. They direct the policy of Russia, they are about 15% of the population of Russia. Reason: the ideologist of the Russian world Ivan Ilyin lived in Nazi Germany in exile, he fled there after the revolution of 1917 on the "philosophical ship". Putin reads and quotes a book by Ivan Ilyin https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivan_Ilyin.

Russia is preparing a new large-scale offensive

Ukraine Braces for Grisly Russian Offensive in the East

Russia is sending more bodies. Ukraine doesn’t have enough. And the tanks won’t arrive in time.

Ukrainian officials estimate that Russian forces inside the country have surpassed the 300,000 mark following a recent mobilization effort that began in September of last year. Military analysts believe the figure may be slightly lower, but even more conservative estimates of Russia’s presence in Ukraine are significantly higher than the invading force that Russian President Vladimir Putin used to invade the country last February—and this time, they are highly concentrated in eastern Ukraine

“We expect in the next 10 days a new, huge invasion,” a Ukrainian military official, speaking on condition of anonymity to talk about intelligence matters, told Foreign Policy. Over the weekend, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said that he expects a surge in Russian operations around the upcoming anniversary of the invasion on Feb. 24.

Now the Russian presence in Ukraine significantly exceeds the invasion forces in February 2022. Russia already has 1,800 tanks, 3,950 armored vehicles and hundreds of aircraft.
