One of the target of IFX project is to locally assemble Boramae here in PT DI facility, so I assume they will build new assembly line.
But after al those 40-50 units completed, what's next?

I got this idea, how about we finance development and buy license to build locally F50 (single seater of FA50).

PT DI will got additional order and keep their facility running.
We got cheap platform with system and weapons of our choice.
All those Rafale, Boramae, and (possibly) Eagle 2 are expensive to operate. We need cheaper second line fighter too.

How do you guys think?

The idea for single engine light fighter is already being put into the table from now on, well at least i had talking about it since years ago. As there is pros and cons right now, as the military planner in Indonesia right now is in the process to assess potential of emerging technology in the form of loyal wingman UCAV like Ghostbat and Kizilelma.

There is a reason why someone right now attending Avalon Air Show....

Great, as long as we can produce it locally and cheaper, it's okay 👍

don't forget, indonesia should invest in excalibur projectile like ammo, or and of course, in rocket guided munitions for astros n turks made rocket launcher. Its cheap solutions for anti access area denial, with lot off choke points that indo have. We do not have to destroy the ships, just to paralyze detection capability or launch capability, air burst munitions will be great for the job.

Something like Ghostbat and Kizilelma is definitely BLOS, right?

Keep borrowing Singaporean sat or using commercial satellite doesn't seem ideal.

Singapore doesn't operated military purpose navigation satellite used for various military related jobs.

Indonesian using China and US services for that roles....

The demand for more precise positioning method using GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) in Indonesia continue to rise. The accuracy of GNSS positioning depends on the length of baseline and the distribution of observed satellites. BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) is a positioning system owned by China that operating in Asia-Pacific region, including Indonesia. This research aims to find out the contribution of BDS in increasing the accuracy of long baseline static positioning in Indonesia. The contributions are assessed by comparing the accuracy of measurement using only GPS (Global Positioning System) and measurement using the combination of GPS and BDS. The data used is 5 days of GPS and BDS measurement data for baseline with 120 km in length. The software used is open-source RTKLIB and commercial software Compass Solution. This research will explain in detail the contribution of BDS to the accuracy of position in long baseline static GNSS measurement.

But Mado, I wasn't asking about satellite for navigation here, but signal relay.

Indonesian CH4B got BLOS capability and already in use that's why they are operating far away on the high seas far away from their ground control unit and also perform ELINT roles

Since PAL will join development with UEA company

They said that collaboration does not only focus on combat management systems & integration, but also provides space for development for both parties, especially PT PAL Indonesia to develop designs, develop underwater vehicles and submarines, as well as unmanned surface vehicles.

"This collaboration is the starting point for cooperation in the development of defense equipment with the United Arab Emirates," said Kaharuddin Djenod.

I hope PAL joint development with Highland Systems for mini submarine K'RONOS'
