First of all, your country is south korea? Japan is the most interesting one, USA. After the F 35 was commissioned, they sought a twin-engine fighter aircraft with high air-to-air capability. Korea and Japan turned to a solution with domestic aircraft. USA went to mods like f 15 ex.

I can't find the resources I read 3-5 years ago now. Or usa senate armed forces inspection meeting minutes etc.
It has the reason, even though f35 is stealth, it carry very fex missiles in it, and when the weapon door is open, it will shine in the radar(or its RCS increase a lot). Thats why its thought that each of them can shoot 4 air to air missiles that will not be enough when its outnumbered.
Head pf Baykar also mentioned it that they will still win with Kizilelma from price point when they outnumber them 1 to 5 and mentioned by Ismail Demir who is head of rhe SSB(who manages all turkish army technology)

They analyzed the results of the purchase of the F 35 aircraft, specific to the Greek conditions. If you have time, I recommend you to read it with google translate.

BAYKAR Technology Leader
@Selcuk To the question of "what would happen if the countries you sell products to show an attitude towards Turkey": "High-tech devices are loaded with advanced software. These software are dominated by technology developers. He answered."

So, whoever the software is, the machine works for him!

The software of the F 35 aircraft belongs to the USA. The rest is empty words.

Mr Ismail Demir : "Discussions on the F-35 continue. There are many options on the table, including going to arbitration at the point of repayment of the money here.

We are watching the process. We will take the necessary steps"

They should litigate for the return to status quo pre-2019. There's a solid chance they could achieve that through the courts.

It's like paying America to be owned by them.

A lot of Israelis have dual citizenship.

An issue which the Americans have overlooked so many times.

Dafuq does it do to be worth 3000 dollars a pop?! Three-course dinner? Taxes? GF duties?
I believe the new flares have the ability to mimic the heat signature of an aircraft thus increasing the chance of diverting missiles thrown at the fighter jet. But still 3000 a piece is expensive but it is a known fact that the US government gets screwed on prices from their contractors, especially when there is no competition.
