General Atomics has developed a winged artillery round with 150 km of range from Howitzers and 50-100 km of range from naval guns.
imo we need something like this too.

You are right, but there are concept that only US can practically afford to develop due to their budget size and financial capability. Let’s see how far this can go.I think using MLRS launched 300mms or Bora/Khan at that range is easier, and cheaper. For anything you want to hit 150kms away, you'd want more explosive filler than what a 155mm round can give you.
K9 had a 6 to 8 RPM, same possibly can be said for T155. They claim 8 to 10 rounds for K9A2 with autoloader and all 48 rounds are in the turret and accessible by the system.MDK 155mm distance correction kit tests are started.
Truck-mounted panter howitzer tests are started.
The fire rate of Fırtına 2 increased to 8 per minute. For comparison, Fırtına 1 has a fire of 6 per minute.
Aselsan annual report.
6-8 rounds/min is the rapid fire rate6 and 8 are continuous fire rates over a long period of time like 480 rounds per hour.
K9A2: 9-10 rounds/min with fully automated loader (2 „versions“ currently with 6.6 seconds and 6 seconds loading time).K9 had a 6 to 8 RPM, same possibly can be said for T155. They claim 8 to 10 rounds for K9A2 with autoloader and all 48 rounds are in the turret and accessible by the system.
Wonder how is it with Fırtına II.
True I confused it with the MRSI (Multiple Rounds Single Impact) rapid firing pattern of 3 consecutive rounds by using different angles and landing them on a single target at the same time for the maximum impact.6-8 rounds/min is the rapid fire rate
(prolonged firing at this high rate would overheat and damage the barrel)
3 rounds/min for sustained fire without tear and wear of barrel is the optimal cadence.
I hope they get introduced soon, Ukraine destroyed many Russian Tanks by using PG Artillery Rounds like Excalibur, it saves also a lot of Amunition.
True but Turkiye got Mushaks as an offset. Something similar might happen.Although Fatah-iI is really good and Turkey doesn’t have anything similar in class for that range, but Roketsan could easily develop one. So, I really doubt TAF will want to buy it.
