Cevikoz said the new foreign policy would be based on “non-intervention of domestic affairs of neighbours, impartial foreign policy and adherence to international norms”. He criticised Erdogan’s use of hard power in Libya, promising that Turkey would be an “honest broker” in Libya by talking to all sides. This, again, is easier to say than to achieve

It doesnt say its going to be abandoned. He's saying they will pursue diplomatic solutions.
That doesnt mean retreating or giving up what has been gained.

As we all know, almost all major infrastructural and industrial inaugurations and ceremonies are very carefully scheduled according to the pre-election programme. RTE's rallies in Izmir on 29 April and Ankara on 30 April will be his most important rallies outside Istanbul. Therefore, the big showcase to be held at TAI is most probably scheduled between 26-28 April or just before the Ankara rally, because RTE, who we all know, will not miss the opportunity to share Hürjet and Anka-3 footages and say "Eyyy bay Kemal" at the Ankara rally.

The big ceremony will probably happen on May the first. It is a holiday (worker's day) and commies go crazy on that day so Erdo will use this against them. He will say real workers are contributing to our country those commies are rich Cihangir commies that are terrorizing streets etc.

The question here is what he is gonna do after the Ankara rally on the first few days of May
There will be around 10 days left till the election and I see no new project for him to oppen after that period tbh

What are Turkish border guards doing in Hungary while we're trying to secure our borders in the east?
It's a comedy, and they reported it as a success. Where were the migrants sent back to, Türkiye? They didn't mention that.

Only in Turkey can such a scenario occur where the head of intelligence is threatened by the mafia

Yes because it is reported that Hakan Fidan is allegedly going after the Mafia since last year
The fact that this video is being released proves that the Mafia is being threatened rn which is a good thing. I want to see if this guy's son has the balls to go up against armored tanks and vehicles etc... in retaliation to even touching Hakan Fidan's hair

I swear, Iam liking Hakan Fidan even more with every second! He is the boss and probably the best one in the history of MIT in the last 2-3 decades

MHP is a mafia structure, they killed Sinan. If you think about it, there has been some mafia with linked with the government for decades, I don't think Meral is clean either given her position with the Tansu Çiller government Erdogan built a patronage network with AKP, HDP has links with guerillas and HÜDA-PAR legacy of hezbollah. CHP also has a rough history, Temel Karamollaoğlu had a role in instigating alevi massacre and still refuses to call it a massacre. Ozdag was also almost prosecuted over a coup attempt like Perincek before they were both found to be useful. Out of all these, MHP and former MHP is the most dangerous because of the power and influence they have and can exert on the state and military and their ties to the underworld.

Politics is very dirty in this country, injustice is fine if most people don't like the person who is the victim

you are from Germany and you do know that for long time Turks had having problems in the border for many reasons. that's why Turkiye - hungary, serbia, bulgaria etc, having Turkish police abroad to prevent issues. Which the news article you give also states .

"Turkish security forces have so far contacted over 160,000 Turks and sought solutions to their problems, according to the daily." so next time when you having issues, you could grab some Turkish police help in the region.

Türkiye having business in the region is very important, especially for truck drivers, that's why Türkiye try to give more assistant to Turkish citizens and border regions.

As for latest question about eastern border. Usa having 3,111 km border with Mexico it estimated 11 million illegal people living in USa. And a thousand of monthly entry . So you think that is an easy job ? Even USA having hard time .

https://cis.org/Report/Estimating-Illegal-Immigrant-Population-Using-Current-Population-Survey

Last week, Italy announced an emergency state because of unstoppable illegal entry . UK island country having problems of thousand of illegal immigrant. There are no numbers of it.

as for Türkiye borders with : Armenia 328 km, İran: 560km Iraq 384 km , Syria : 911 km. and it's not that easy part of the Turkiye. Mountainous and easy findable alternative easy. There is no cure for spider to entering your house.

you do make necessary prevention and also internal capturing and returning. i think you need to look at the bigger picture.

Borders was mined as far as I know. That’s why migrants couldn’t enter in Turkiye.

Not true, the minefield does not prevent entering. But also poses a large threat. Which is why in last decades many places were cleaned.

I wonder if cheap unmanned stationary towers lined up through the border line would be effective solution to the border crisis. Maybe integrate some sort of cheap guns/mortars to deter interlopers. Shoot some warning shots, shoot to kill if they are aggressive, and gendarmerie comes and detains them if they just keep walking. Rough them up, strip them off and dump them to the border with instructions to return or be shot . That's kinda what Greeks do and admittedly it's the most sensible policy. Their valuables are collected as compensation for their crimes and the cost of border security

Then we start cleaning the ones in the country. Biometric IDs, face-recognition software, fast-tracked bureucracy to deport them, treaties with home countries or a procedure to dump them somewhere. Harsh penalties for illegal workers and their employers. Any one of them that's cought for a crime should be shipped to a "value added prison" (they should work labor intensive jobs like American prisons, textiles maybe?). 16 hour workdays. If that model proves profitable, the ones caught at the border might be dropped at those facilities. They may contact their families back home for their bail. The ones who commit really horrible crimes (llike that afghan SOB who crushed a little girls head ater raping her) should be kept indefinitely. Healthcare for prisoners should not be very expensive, and if they are really sick, we just deport them. Needless to say, Turkic ones should be kept in better conditions (unless they are criminals).

I don't think you don't graps the scale of your idea. and investments will be. Turkiye borders with : Armenia 328 km, İran: 560km Iraq 384 km , Syria : 911 km,

- if we put every 25 meter, a cheap unmanned stationary towers it takes 22400 CUS Tower for Iran border alone.
- You have to be populated with Cheap armory and sensors. It still needs a hell of a sensor and scanning devices to detect and act and perform. so impossible to begin with. And how do you differentiate without proper systems ? Accidentally shooting military cars and others
- The Terrain is also not very friendly either. A Hundred of km's mountainous highlands. etc. see image

Even if we do , you still have Human mind. a person can dig a tunnel, or adapting in environment etc etc. many factors that you begin to lose sight.
So like many countries Türkiye do and does what it best and very effective manner. Intelligent Towers, walls, high trenches, high speed , ai Areal surveillance , UAV that scans a region 24/7 etc etc.

if they just keep walking. Rough them up, strip them off and dump them to the border with instructions to return or be shot . That's kinda what Greeks do and admittedly it's the most sensible policy. Their valuables are collected as compensation for their crimes and the cost of border security

- Turkish military and national tradition and Turkish custom. You are not like the Greeks, Your high value of humane treatments is known in history and still known by many countries. It's against your Turkish nationalistic idea and Turkish customs. Turks are proud being good soldier and known by their qualities, taken that away makes you simply same as the others.

This part is already in action . Türkiye fasten deportation and many identity clarifications, including storage of this information

Why 25m.? With ATOM unmanned gun pods and compact radars, İn Every 1 Kilometer is enough to stop infiltrations however Turkish soldiers aren't allowed shoot illegal migrants even face to face.

I was thinkning on the lines of strategically placed (at high vantage points) ASELFLIR like optics but cheaper, weather protected guns to engage in close range if people try to disable the tower, and something like an auto-mortar to fire warning shots. They can be placed as far as 2-3 km's depending on the terrain. That still makes a few thousand systems but it can be done in my opinion. Those towers would be controlled from a command center and would fire by human commands. While a rapid response team with helicopters or fast moving land vehicles would stand by to detain intruders.

Turkish tradition does not require compromising the country's security by half measures for some moral grandstanding. World is a harsh place. If we don't act now, we will find ourselves a discriminated minority in our own homelands and Turkish people and culture will not survive this century. Now choose: extinction or beating up migrants? I vote beating up migrants. They'll sleep it off.

If we use the correct verbiage and employ the good aesthetics (i.e. not look like nazis) then we can get away with it. Americans do it to their own population and no one bats an eye.

I dont know what to say to people that want to kill refugees at the borders.
The moment you start thinking like that, you have lost your humanity.

So please no more of that, be civilized and yes its totally okay to be against refugees but think before you post.

And anyone approaching our soldiers like that should be arrested on the spot and returned home.

Why do so called refugees infiltrate into Türkiye over the walls, instead of passing legally through borders under the control of Turkish police ?

There are checkpoints and border gates which welcome Syrians.

"Refugees" should be checked and registered by border officers. Their behavior is not peaceful and civilized.
An İnnocent ordinary refugee doesn't have to worry about controls.

And you think that an automatic firing system is the answer? To shoot at kids, women?
Is that an appropriate reaction?
