Kilic just sounds like The White Man's Choice (tm) and is only interesting in being a traitor to the state. Is that all we've got? The mad Islamist or Uncle Mehmet ready to sweep the floors of Europe's house?

Turkey elections: All you need to know about the opposition’s foreign policy

Libya Policy:
  • “We will prioritise dialogue and a non-interventionist approach. We will be an honest broker in places like Libya by talking to all sides.”

EU policy:
  • Government would uphold European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) judgements, releasing prominent Kurdish politician Selahattin Demirtas and Turkish philanthropist Osman Kavala from prison.
  • Under Kilicdaroglu Turkey would no longer pursue “foreign policy adventures”.
  • Anti-Terror Law will be amended for visa-free travel in the EU.
Pkk:
  • “Our fundamental priority would be core national security issues, such as the terror threat emanating from Syria and Iraq,”

Somalia-Qatar:
  • “Why are we in Somalia? There is no reason. Why do we have thousands of soldiers in Qatar? Why are we in Libya, where we have taken a side in a civil war? We will review all of them.”

Syrian refugees:
  • Syria policy would largely depend on dialogue with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad
  • “Turkey has taken a side in the Syrian civil war, and it will be corrected,” the official said. “We won’t immediately withdraw from Syria, I cannot give a timeline, but we will discuss our conditions and see what happens.”
  • “No doubt it will be on a voluntary basis,” the official said. “It will require incentivisation, job opportunities, and rehabilitation. And we will definitely want to share the burden with the EU, US, and UN.”

Russia and the US:
  • Opposition officials agree that Ankara should continue this balanced approach by pursuing a position as a mediator.
  • “We are against foreign soldiers on our land as much as we are against neoliberalism. We are ready to do whatever is necessary,”
  • Turkey would maintain its relations with the US on the basis of equal partnership
  • They will strive to re-enter the fifth-generation F-35 fighter jet programme. There will be solutions for the S-400 that NATO members will be satisfied with.

Greece, Cyprus, and Israel:
  • As for neighbours Greece and Cyprus, both officials said Turkey would restart “results-oriented” dialogue with Athens.
  • “If we cannot reach a resolution with them, we are ready to take everything to court, including maritime delimitation, territorial waters, and airspace,”
  • New government would addressto begin continuous UN-brokered talks with the Republic of Cyprus in the south, failed 2017, dialogue in Crans Montana.
  • “Our sense about Mavi Marmara is that Israel's monetary payments didn’t reach the families of victims,” the official said of the compensation promised by the Israelis. “We would look into this issue, but it wouldn’t disrupt our relations with Israel.”
  • “We are ready to negotiate everything to normalise our relations with neighbours like Israel and Egypt,” the second official added. “We might have to discuss the presence of Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood in Turkey with them.”
  • The second official said that a Kilicdaroglu government, for example, would like to deepen its defence industry ties with Israel and Europe, as well as the UK.

Gulf states:
  • “We would like to have equal relations with everyone in the region,”
  • “We don’t know exactly what promises were made, and what was taken in return,” the first official added. “We will have to see all of them to make our minds up on what will come next.”

did AK party write that for the CHP?

This ak party administration has been a total failure only seen as a success by politically minded islamists, the only thing a rival political party would need to focus on is the terrible economy. That would be enough to win an election. Instead they focus on everything else and focus on it in a way that makes you hate them. Surely it cannot be this obvious that CHP/AK are two sides of the same coin as if they are playing out a script.

The attacking of Bayraktar just seems far to obvious to me, even the ex-feto/ak party boys like Davutoglu and babacan went after bayraktar and any fool knows that will only help AK party. In the case of babacan this guys has been invited to about 20 bilderburg meetings making him Turkiyes most welcomed "internationalist" by the western world order, he's too smart to make such a mistake.

Its like if you are trying to win the nationalist, patriotic, secularist vote you don't go after Ataturk, you only go after him if you are trying to play a game where you want someone else to get the votes.

Yeah lets go after Bayraktar the company whose drones elevated in the international perception of Turkiye, that's going to get us votes. What next go after after TAI and their development of a 5th gen fighter jet. Tell Turks we are going to close this expensive project to save money and then expect people to vote for you?

yeah its too obvious.

To me it looks like democratically Turkiye is done, it only exists on paper in reality its a nation run in a similar way to how Russia is run. Powerful dynastic families with billions of dollars deciding how the country goes.

I think that AKParty are actually controlling the CHP. There’s no way otherwise. Even the dumbest guy on the planet can’t make these mistakes. Kilicdaroglu is controlled by someone for sure. If he truly wants to win he just had to talk about economy, and simply shut his mouth for the rest.

We know in the past that FETO had its hooks in both AK party and CHP, which tells me that NGO's are able to heavily influence the entire political spectrum. And it also tells us that the political spectrum understands the power of non-state actors to get politicians elected. After all FETO controlled a large proportion of the media, without their media support maybe you couldn't get elected. Like in England when the left leaning labour administration met with Rupert Murdock and got his blessing, then the traditionally right leaning papers started to promote Tony Blair and the labour party, with many political analysts concluding that murdochs media empire support won labour the election.

In a way this so called Islamist order owned by the USA was the kingmaker of Turkish politics for a period of time. Hence why both major parties were sucking off FETO. Also potentially why AK party eventually went after them understanding the power they held to potentially dispose of his party.

But you watch these last 2 decades play out and pay attention to CHP and it really does seem like its all a set up, whoever the kingmaker behind the scenes of Turkish politics is now it really does seem obviously orchestrated to me.

As the poster mentioned, choice between a white man lackey or a mad islamist, is that really the best the Turkish nation can hope for or have? And to the whites on here i don't mean the common people and i dont say it as some kind of racial slur, or negative term, i'm as white as the common European is, i say white to encompass that international power structure dominated by the anglo-american world order. And if you read their material from cecil rhodes to carrol quigley this anglo-american international order places their people at the top of it.

I remember reading the things Ecevit said about the deep state, honestly it sends chills down your spine. Ecevit knew it existed, he knew of its power, he came into contact with men who were part of it, but he was completely ignorant of its inner workings, just knowing that he had to operate in a way that was acceptable to it.

Baykar was never a state owned company...

Quote:
“Why? They might sell it to the Americans tomorrow. Or give it to the Qataris as we have given the tank-pallet factory to the Qataris. Impossible. In all democracies and authoritarian regimes of the world, the defence industry must walk together with the state.” *facepalm*

I am quite happy with CHP's foreign policy
You kidding right? Search who Ünal Ceviköz (Kilicdaroglu's advisor) is and what stupid statements he did and still does. You know that he condemed Türkiye's support for Azerbaijan during the Karabakh War accused us for sending Jihadis to Karabakh? In the 90s he ripped his a$$ apart to appeas Armenia and normalize relations with them...

If you sleep and make one mistake in geopolitics it is irreversible, therefore Libya should not been abandoned so carelessly only to appease the West.

Turkey should never ever leave either Syria, or Libya, or Qatar, or Azerbaijan, or Somalia

Each of these bases has a certain significance to Turkish interests and geographical integrity. I dont expect the CHP who regularly attacks Baykar to know this but at least the common folk should know

We must leave Syria by making a deal with Assad regarding refugees and YPG/PKK.

Azerbaijan, Libya, Somalia and Qatar are very important for Turkish strategic and economic interests.

At this point any politicians going after Baykar are either morons of such low intelligence or they are intentionally operating in a way as to not get elected. Rolling the carpet out for AK party, because Baykar is the one shining light AK party has since erdogans daughter married seljuk. In a way he's lucky that seljuk didnt marry into the CHP side of things, then he's got nothing but failure from the economy to mass immigration on his record.

The moment you leave Syria all that happens is that Assad fills the north with pkk/shia proxies again to commit terrorist attacks on Turkish soil. The days of sitting back and allowing these guys to undermine our nation, to support terrorist entities against us at least are over. The truth is that i'm honestly expecting Turkiye is going to go deeper and further over the coming decades.

yeah the syria policy was a total disaster, a dumb move to support the american/isreali war against assad, but were here now and the only way forward is literally forward.

Everyone in the region tried to behave as if we don't exist and our concerns are not important, from greece to iran, from iran to libya. Well those days are over and if they continue to behave that way military action will follow.

You couldnt be more wrong mate
Just like the other bases, Syria has 2 significant uses

1- it pushes the frontline from the Turkish/Syrian border to within the territory of Syria itself thus allowing more free use of Turkish land and peace of mind of the citizens since some rockets and shells may fall on villages bordering the area of conflict

2- Effectively hunt and destroy all the logistics, supply lines, training centres, as well as underground canals that the YPG/PKK were using to transit information, weapons, and drugs into Turkey

This is why Turkey should remain in Syria and try to complete the 30 om safe zone. However, knowing the advantages of such plans, both Russia and USA have set out to ensure that no safe zone is ever built as this means that a major thorn in Turkey's side have been removed so they will concentrate on other things

Libya is not going to be abandoned. They are going to review everything and consolidate gains where there are positives, that was the statement.

And yes Erdogan has been adventuring be mercenary Islamists in the SNA, it even resulted in Turkey being put on the child soldier list temporarily though Turkey was given a waiver.

When a candidate who offers his services as a leader of 80 million people regularly asks the question: "why are we in Libya, and Qatar" even though the answer is sooo visible that all of us (who arent politicians yet know of it) proves one of 2 things

1- either he is stupid enough that he cant catch on quickly
2- he has a hidden agenda of getting the hell out of Libya for whatever bullshit reason he spits from his mouth

Therefore we have to negotiate a buffer zone that is jointly patroled by Turkish-Syrian/Russian Forces, Turkish drones monitoring from the sky, resettle Syrians.

When was the last attack on their logistics, supply lines, training centres etc? Are you kidding?

And here is the problem, you can never negotiate with Assad since all of the parties involved in the conflict want to use the PKK against Turkey.

Assad wants the PKK to trouble Turkey so that one day he can retake Hatay
Russia wants the PKk to trouble Turkey to ensure that Turkey doesnt have the leniency of spreading its wings to other places
USA wants the PKK to one day encourage the kurdish-origin Turkish citizens to revolt in order to form their shitty kurdistan between Syria, Iraq, and Turkey in order to keep them all in check

The problem here is that many Turks believe that the other side of the political spectrum percieve PKK as a threat which is not the case at all. Moreover, do you think Assad wants the majority Sunni population back? Hell no! Assad is quite fine with the status quo rn and what makes you believe that the Syrians will be "voluntarily" leaving to their own deaths?

And yes, there had been no attacks on the logistic lines etc of the PKK in Syria since most of such items have been cleared by the TSK within the areas controlled by Turkey. This is clearly reflected on the low terror incidents within Turkey for the last 4 years. The problem is that areas like Kobani etc remains to be cleared but the US is hell bent on not leaving

And what will akp do? Is there any plan for sending them back? Are there any mention about it?
Btw who the hell are you to tell me remain silent? Are you a Turk Turkish citizen?
No there isnt a plan by the AKP to kick the refugees
But there is a clear difference between some1 who lies in order to gain votes and some1 who is staying silent because he knows he wont change it. If a politician is already willing to spray lies here and there before even becoming the president then expect him to do worse once he becomes the president. That is after all, human nature

I didnt know whether to post it here or in the 2023 general elections thread so Iam posting it on both threads😅😉

Excellent article
This article proves all my recent arguments on why Egypt, USA, Syria, Russia, and EU are playing hardball with Erdogan these days. It is because they are 100% sure that they are gonna get what they want from Turkey without even a shred of compromise from their side after Erdogan is gone...... sad times are ahead

I mean, When even filthy germany wants Erdogan gone, lool
Translation:
British journalist David Hearst:
“From Washington to Berlin, there are many politicians who will celebrate Erdogan's overthrow with champagne. KK intends to hand over the key of Turkey to the West. Erdogan's departure would be a disaster for Turkey and the Middle East.”

Nope, it is going to be abandoned
The CHP made it clear that they want to remake their foreign policy to one of pre 2003 in which they seclude themselves from whatever is happening abroad

This is a recent article by the Middle East Eye
Read it and concentrate on this part; the opposition is criticising Erdogan's hard power approach in Libya..... I mean, what kore proof do you need?

Cevikoz said the new foreign policy would be based on “non-intervention of domestic affairs of neighbours, impartial foreign policy and adherence to international norms”. He criticised Erdogan’s use of hard power in Libya, promising that Turkey would be an “honest broker” in Libya by talking to all sides. This, again, is easier to say than to achieve
