We didn’t have time for proper Paint job of atak ?
This is awesome... Super!
8 month at sea, no contact with landwalkers. Those are some pretty harsh conditions to put the Sailors through. I think DzKK needs to find a way to bring those ppl in and send some new ppl out.Deniz Kuvvetleri’ne bitmeyen karantina: Oğlum, telefonu babası sanıyor

They are getting to land, just not allowed to leave the base or to meet with their families (which i know some has met under some conditions but i don't know). But it is hard.Deniz Kuvvetleri’ne bitmeyen karantina: Oğlum, telefonu babası sanıyor

Just because the width is the same doesn’t mean the dimensions are the same. Draft of I-class is 4.05m as opposed to 3.90m of Ada Class. Height of the two ships are different as well. Never mind the technical problems to do with extending shafts and equipment placements and cabling you would face. Some idea that came up in my head today was the possibility to convert the Ada class corvettes into I-class like frigates. Seeing as the I-class is basically a lengthened Ada by ~10 meters and with the beam the same, it that shouldn't be that much of a problem. By cutting the Ada from behind the main-gun and in front of the bridge and inserting a 13-14 meter length module which contains the VLS canisters might be achievable. It would be a cost-effective and fast upgrade, doable in one year.
This could be done after the last I-class has been launched. @Brave Janissary what do you think?
Okay then what would you put in VLS? Again ESSM? They have already RAM . ESSM plus RAM combination wouldnt be something game changer. Some idea that came up in my head today was the possibility to convert the Ada class corvettes into I-class like frigates. RAM is a CIWS and ESSM can be used to cover a larger area. And with block II coming up it can cover even larger area's. And perhaps in the future it can use Turkish VLS and SAM's.Okay then what would you put in VLS? Again ESSM? They have already RAM . ESSM plus RAM combination wouldnt be something game changer.
If we had SIPER or SM2 , i would agree with you nonetheless you can still add a VLS to somewhere without cutting.
For our ADA class corvettes there is a few alternatives ESSM and SM2 because indigenous missiles wouldnt work with Smart-s radar.RAM is a CIWS and ESSM can be used to cover a larger area. Nope, you can not do that. Some idea that came up in my head today was the possibility to convert the Ada class corvettes into I-class like frigates. It was probably shortsightedness on our behalf not to include VLS in our Milgem Corvettes when building them. But what is done is done!
We need to focus on the new I-class ships now. Also Barbaros modernisation needs to go forward a.s.a.p. This modernisation will make the Barbaros class the most capable ships of our fleet.
I class frigates program has to be finalised by signing the contracts of the remaining 3 ships.
4 x Modernised Barbaros frigates
4 x I class frigates
4 x Milgem Corvettes
6 x Reis submarines
will make the fleet very special and deadly!
