Was expecting either this or İstiklal, also translates well

Not bad , i said TF 23 Kartal , but also Istikbal is not bad

I did'nt like it. Kartal is much better. In terms of both being easy to pronounce and its meaning. We have never used this name in big projects of defence sector.

I would prefer it to be named Istiklal which translates to independence! It will translate to the cumulation of the years of suffering and discrimination the turks suffered only for them to build their beacon of hope.... the istiklal

Moreover, it sounds cool in english as well.... TF-Independence seems like a cool name

Why not.Americans called their air defense system Patriot .I think it's absurd but everybody get used to it.

If it's going to be a multi-syllable word, I hope it won't be istikbal (Future) as this is an Arabic word استقبال
Instead something like Karabasan (Nightmare) or Yildirim (Thunder) otherwise a single or double syllable word
e.g. Kurt, Börü, Bürküt, Kartal, Eren etc.

Should go with S "Savaşcı" (Means fighter in Turkish) or F. I dont see Americans named their aircraft AF (American Figther).
