wait, so we are combining both Stirling AIP with Li-On Battery?
Is the offer for Scorpène with Swedish Stirling AIP? I don't think this has been offered to any other Scorpène customer. Before France just offered MESMA AIP for Scorpènes which no customer has taken.
France has been developing the FC2G AIP for Scorpènes but I don't think it has been certified yet for submarine use. It would take a few years testing in an actual submarine to certify a new AIP system so maybe they firgured it wasn't worth it for a small order.
Fuel Cells are generally less noisy and more efficient than Stirling AIP but also more difficult to develop. So far only Germany has a mature Fuel Cell AIP ( maybe SK too but it is probably based on German tech).

And you need expensive hydrogen infrastructure to be put on every submarine port. Refueling cost a lot too.

Are we have industrial base to even attempt it?

It's not directly related to ID Navy and i was confused to where to post this, but anyway, this is honest review from me, you guys should watch this, definitely!, if you have a free time, but it's saturday and im sure you guys have some free time hehe.

It's an trully amazing work of documentation of how naval warship should works and do it's job. It covers almost every aspect, explained and visualize in detail, from combat simulation, crew's life, various execise and amazing footage.

I highly recommend you guys to watch it, 1 and a half hour video is worth in every minute, and makes me hoping so that our future ID Navy naval warship will be more profesional and sophisticated than this.

Props to the German Navy, Frigate and it's crew, and the Documentary maker.

European Nation had long history, and with that come their proud Naval tradition and history

German Navy (Deutsche Marine), they are direct line from German Empire Navy, Reich Marine and Kriegsmarine. So they still has significant culture, tradition and proud history.

And that is what i admire from them, although tradition may not be implemented fully, but we can learned so much how good their discipline and their profesionality at work.

Imo, the Japan MSDF is the better of the two, probably the 2nd best outside the USN when it comes to tech, naval culture, discipline...
