It depends Yes and no why it has become like that because Sweden gives a slap on the wrist.

Its no different to San Francisco with high rates of drugs, suicide, homelessness, rape.

The problem is how progessives never get tough on crime hence why the problems get worse.

Sweden crime problem even affects immigrant communities more than the natives. Most immigrant communities live in slums.

Nordic countries in reality might be the most developed on the planet but the society itself there is something not right there at all.

Turkiye once even warned Turkish travellers about dangers of Sweden having the highesst rate of rape.

The ads in the airport basically pissed off Sweden.

Then again Turkiye and Sweden never had close relations at all.

Sweden constantly backs Pkk also accused Turkiye supporting Isis. Because Sweden believes Turkiye allows fighters to be smuggled into Syria or Iraq while in reality Sweden actually did not stop its own citizens from travelling to the warzones to join up with Pkk or Isis.

Sweden also never allowed Turkiye to buy any of its weapon systems like the At4 and the Carl Gustaf also placed an embargo. Then again Turkiye barely buys anything from Sweden.

Lots of bad blood. Not just Sweden these Nordic countries in general are hostile to Turkiye.

Hence why not 1 Turkish soldier should be placed in these countries.

Dont forget how they put Ataturk's pictures and used them as target practice.

The US is trying to blackmail Erdogan by forcing him to accept Sweden's NATO membership using the most mundane reasons

This is quite similar to the incident when Italy back in (2016?) I believe accused Erdogan and his son of similar practices for it to only be closed due to lack of evidence. Another incident it reminds me of is when Russia stated that it had evidence that Erdogan and his son used to support ISIS ad profit fron weapons transfer through its border only for Russia to refuse to provide their so-called "evidence" to the UN international court and the US


Same story every time with typical Western mindset. It just proves how the negotiations reached a deadlock and the US is trying to force Sweden in by any means

However, Swedish government does not get to decide on this case as there is a separation of powers, despite knowing it will destroy their chances of NATO. I am certain that even if Turkey greenlight's their accession, this case would continue. Like how decades ago Saudis were bribed by arms companies, Erdogan is the same today.

It is not a serious case in that it will result in prosecution of Erdogan or his son, but it will again damage reputation of the country.

You use small guns from multiple angles to pressure before you go nuclear.

Also, using the Swedes is just the way for Americans to say "Look even Swedes can hurt you". Furthermore, it has implications for internal Swedish politics as it will show the population that "Erdogan is corrupt" and this is the reason why it takes time for joining NATO instead of actually talking about the real reason which is long-term support for left-wing terror organizations since the 70s.

Just today on Swedish news, PKK was mentioned as a terrorist organization when they previously have always been mentioned as either guerilla or freedom fighters. This happened since a single person was prosecuted today for collecting money for PKK and he meet with known PKK leaders in Sweden. This is the first time anyone has been prosecuted in Sweden for being a member of PKK. Note that they did not prosecute the known PKK leaders but a simple foot soldier. Previously, PKK even had para-military training camps in Sweden without anyone saying a single word.

Sweden is a country where members of parliament can waive the official PKK flag without anything happening while a single parliament member of Turkish origin had to resign because he had a public Iftar dinner with hundreds of guests in one of the suburbs of Stockholm, among one guest from Turkey who was a member of MHP.

Make no mistake, this is all planned in Washington and Sweden is extremely anti-turkish and pro-pkk.
