ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol announced that a new firing test of domestic air-to-air missiles has been successfully completed.

That is Gökdoğan and this is the first video of this missile launch if I remember correctly. If they are able to paired with f16 radar somehow, that would be an excellent news.

That's great,considering the fact that Karaok was competing against South Korean AT-1K Raybolt and Chinese HJ-12 in the bid.
Says a lot about the quality and affordability of Karaok.

Roketsan to provide Karaok to TAF this year | TURDEF

Roketsan General Manager Murat İkinci stated that KARAOK would be delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces in 2022.

What happens is foreign countries sign contract before delivery of the system to TAF.
That doesn't mean they are getting it before TAF. Because TAF already signed contract before any foreign customers. And they will get it first.

If Malaysia Sign contract this year they will get it by next year or 2025.

What if METE missiles were enlarged a bit more for longer range and space for an effective enough shaped charge warhead and later on put inside a simplistic multi launcher? It could allow infantry to defend themselves against technicals, enemy snipers, light armored vehicles and conduct attacks against mortar/atgm positions, lightly protected buildings etc. View attachment 60541

Their CIDA project looked promising for anti structure and anti infantry role,too bad they cancelled it.Hope they come up with something similar to German "Enforcer" or Polish "Pirat" it would come in handy for Turkish special forces.
Maybe make some anti personnel warheads for Karaok,like they did with Omtas.

We already discussed it. And we decided :quadpacking SiperB1( Hisar RF with booster)and dual packing SiperB2

These missiles have no comparable dimensions to Siper B2 but slightly larger than B1 (diameter of the missile body). It is clearly impossible to dual pack B2 in MIDLAS / Mk41 and TN in overall is not interested in double packing.

Same performance can be achieved from Hisar-D B2 if a slim booster with TVC capability is added. (of which i am sure will be done)

Well, this certainly gives me a double digit growth This is seriously great news, hopefully it'll be followed by news about Akya and Orka. We are just few steps away from not relying on outside for armaments on our ships.

TCG Istanbul has 16, so yeah.

All new built ships and submarines, including Ada Class, will be equipped with Atmaca,
Others will use mixed (Barbaros, FAC classes until Harpoon stock is spent in exercises)

I would expect KTJ-3200 to be used, I remember there was news about delivery of Serially produced KTJ-3200 to be used in Atmaca.
