But balance of power between (an almost) unified West and Türkiye is not the same, is it? Tit for tat is not always a very wise response.

Turkiye is going its own path.

Its own destiny. Regardless of Erdogan or not.

Its been put in place ever since the Republic was founded.

I dont think Ataturk would prefer staying in one camp as motto has always been independant Turkiye.

Oh man. The PKK is going to look cute by comparison and receive even more support because the west can just use this as justification.

Hamas has killed so many civilians in a day, even released videos of them executing civilians and celebrating it, I don't think the PKK even did the videos for fear of retribution.

Erdogan is destroying foreign policy for his image.

Pkk massacred numerous villages in the 90s.

Also bombed numerous tourists hot spots in Turkiye.

Nah dont forget how Ocalan was given a Greek passport this was also known by CIA.

Pkk was just like the armed islamic group of Algeria aka hardcore Islamists that made both Al Qaeda and Isis look like boy scouts. With their constant massacres of villages, nurses and teachers.

Their crimes havent been documented enough because the internet was not as advanced back then.

Pkk reached its peak in depravity in the 80s and 90s.

80's and 90's are like 40 years ago, that's a long time in world media and minds

Secondly and the most important point

The PKK did not recently release videos of them killing civilians and celebrating it on video like Hamas did! The world media is focussed on the conflict and Hamas videos were watched worldwide of Hamas executing civilians and celebrating it, which is a clear act of terrorism!

This combined with Erdogan calling them freedom fighters is going to be incredibly destructive for promoting our narrative internationally on the PKK! Erdogan called people who execute civilians on video like ISIS freedom fighters!

Turkiye is a regional power.

Turkiye is more secular than Israel. Funny how these Cuckservatives call Turkiye an Islamic state when they literally back a Jewish state.

Israel is literally akin to a Etho state with both ethnic and religious characteristics. Entirely not a theocracy neither is it entirely secular.

Lets not forget Saudi Arabia too
These mean nothing if you don't have the hard power to back it up. What's the use of threatening with military intervention if you don't even have the means to transport your troops to the "enemy's" borders, let alone battling with them? And to what end? What about your anti-ballistic capabilities? How will you defend yourself when the blazing missiles are heading your way?

All these empty talks are either to placate the few uneducated simpletons in the country or he's actually a hardcore Islamist with very little concern for the safety of his citizens.

Unfortunately the country is governed by populist baboons who only look for their own prestige, this is not an insult or whatsoever this is FACT. I thought Hakan Fidan would act more rationally but he is the same…

Why did they try to fix the relations with Israel, cooperation in gas exploration… when they throw it under the bus the next day.

Just stop ruining the countries economy and reputation with stupid statements only to make a hard R in the end as always.

I think I’ve expressed this opinion before but I am legitimately very surprised that nobody has attempted to assassinate Erdogan yet. And his wife since I suspect she might be pulling more than a few strings.

And yeah, Islamists are Turkey’s #1 enemy. They enable all others and must be treated and removed like cancer. For all of Azerbaijan’s faults, at least we treat Islamists the way they deserve.

Islamist Terror groups have always been known to record their atrocities.

No different to the Cartels and the Shining path of Peru who were also known to record their atrocities.

Pkk no longer records their atrocities because the aim of their terror game has changed if they continued recording their atrocities the whole world will turn against them now they trying to clean their image by appealing to gullible Western progressives.

Even if they appeal to the Progressive liberal the atrocities they committed wont go away.

Another problem Turkiye lacks is winning the information war.

Instead we ignored it constantly same story with the bullshit Armenian genocide.

Erdogan has appeal to his Islamist voter base there was already talks with lots of his Islamist supporters losing their patience with Erdogan because his not tough enough with his stance against Israel.

Erdogan coming from a conservative background will always use his opportunistic tactics regarding Palestine to appeal to his base.

His a politician afterall. After this whole Gaza thing is done he will return back his old self.

Erdogan is far from a Bismarck. His engine entirely runs on populism.

i had hoped that Aliyev could have taught erdogan a thing or two about balancing relations and international diplomacy. Erdogans power rests on the exploitation of religion, without it he's just another failed politician. This is also why they filled Turkiye with millions of mena types, they can be further fooled with religion to obtain votes.

But i do agree even as a Muslim i recognise that islamists are the greatest threat to Turkiye. Its a cruel twist of fate that the religion has become the primary tool to destroy the nation.

These are dark days for Turkiye and its only going to get worse moving forward. You get enough MENA types into the country and being turned into another iran is very possible. Combine with the fact that the educated classes are looking for ways out and you got a recipe for disaster.

Ultimately islamic civilisaion is exactly where she belongs, either poor and backward nations, or super rich corrupt nations that produce except natural resources. Today Muslims fill western cities to pray in the open as a form of ego boost, But the reality is they have no power and they have next to no science or invention.

Really stupid to call Hamas freedom fighters.

Erdoğan did really well for a few weeks but couldn't hold it in and had to say something dumb.

Israel gave us an olive branch after years of animosity, literally sent countless planes full of arms to Azerbaijan, and wanted to cooperate with us against Iran, which could've opened the gates to a united Turkic world.

Yet here we are with a leader who called an organization which recorded themselves killing unarmed civilians "freedom fighters".

I bet you all remember when the media tried to paint YPG/PKK as "freedom fighters". Infuriating as f*ck.

It seems like certain elements in our government can't control their emotions and let religion dictate everything they do. They jeopardize national security for their own ideals and interests. This is why we win on the battlefield and lose at the table.

In 20 years of AK party rule nothing has been won at the table or rather achieved via diplomacy from them. Any gain we made anywhere was via military force and even then, we have not been able to turn those victories into anything diplomatically worthwhile. Why the people of Turkiye keep tolerating failure after failure is quite humiliating.

Russia is literally burying herself in Ukraine and in two years Erdogan has not been able to utilise that to solve northern syria. Instead the Russians/Assadists bomb the shit out of idlib with absolute impunity. If you cant deal with Syria now while Russia is ruining herself, then it shows you never knew how to deal with Syria from day one despite diving head first into american isreali war against assad.

But wait until the mena types in Turkiye number 20 million, then its iran time for Turkiye. But we don't have the oil and gas revenues of Iran. And unfortunately to me that looks to be the future of Turkiye, a theocratic backward ass nation. While the rulers at the top live the western life style, we will have morality police to make sure women dont show hair otherwise they will be beaten.

I think RTE gave the signal for the operation, and in what direction will Turkiye complicate the table?

"We will continue to destroy the terror corridor with new operations and to take a stand against the dirty campaigns carried out against our country and our faith. (...) We will collapse the projects intended to be established through terrorist organizations and crush the terrorists' heads."

Us Turks are not really politically correct at all.

Now this video seems to be becoming popular worldwide.

This AKP politician reminds me of my edgy teen days thinking im a Nazi just because I played Call of Duty 2 or played German military marches on youtube 24/7.

Germans also saw the Turks as inferior. Once the Germans dealt with the Slavs and Jews they were gonna go after us.

Honestly whats even more crazy about this war in Gaza.

Is the propaganda going global for both sides.

I think this is the first time China was doing propaganda that favours the Palestinians for the first time.

he's been saying similar things since day one of the conflict. And everytime he was forced to do something like when the Russians killed our troops and he couldnt hide it from the nation though he tried, he cuts the operations short. Almost as if he gets a call from america and he stops. He's a terrible statesman. For him politics primarily is a personal business venture for him and his cronies, thats all that matters to them.

Its like the boxer who always loses, your then expecting him to get a big win in his next fight when in reality the past failure shows us the future failures to come.

Every time Turkiye announces an operation soon.

Everybody is against Turkiye from the USA, EU, Iran, Russia, Arab league and Israel.

Everytime Turkiye does moves basically makes everybody turn against them.

I have been hearing this so many times from Erdogan go crush them rather than barking.

If a ground operation cant be done then should just raid ypg with drone strikes or long range attacks with the use of their own Himars system.

Ukraine is not even getting a break through against Russia but they are still constantly bombing their supply lines and hqs. If a ground operation cant be done at least Turkiye should fustrate the fck out of the ypg.

Ypg/pkk should not be getting comfortable next to Turkiye.

He got a call from Russia to allow wagner to withdraw to Sirte.

Mevlut Cavusoglu even bragged about it by the way.

Wagner withdrawal led to Russia sending Jets to Libya.

We got played as usual. This allowed Russia to get dugged in. Russia killed too many Turkish soldiers that Erdogan could not hide it.

Turkish people were calling for blood.

Lets not forget as Turkiye fought against Isis the Russians "accidentally" bombed Turkish soldiers. 3 got killed and conviently covered up but you cant hide 30+ Turkish soldiers martyred in 2020.

Also didnt they also throw the Turkish pilot who shot down a Russian jet by calling him a feto member without any proof.

For doing that our leadership lacks "cojones" all they can do is talking big portraying themselves as "global leaders" infront their own voters and when it matters they are doing a silent reverse. But that's unfortunately the truth in all Turkish political parties.

Nothing they do right now is in the interest of the Turkish Republic and it's people. It´s purely for boasting their own ego and prestige.
We gain nothing from interfering in Arab-Israeli, Pakistani-Indian or Ukrainian-Russian conflicts, there are no gains and becoming the guarantor or being on the negotiation table also doesn't benefit us anyway. However the Ukrainian-Russian conflict is exactly the way we should have dealt with the others.

You are not initiating a ground operation to destroy YPG/PKK? Then at least gather intel and strike their positions, strike their depots, their tunnels... our foreign policy is really humiliating.

All of the public info in these two articles are well known for political actors, even the ones as stupid as AKP operatives. Therefore, all of this nonsense by AKP and Erdogan is strictly for domestic use and may be a little bit for ummah propaganda. All in all just dumb people shit.
