Once again, Americans, especially football and basketball fans hate this. They consider these two team sports as the toughest, roughest shit. Bitching, whining makes players look lame. And with all due respect, they always bitching, tbh. Not only when the officials f*** up 🫤

Who cares about what a bunch of hot dog eating W*stoids think about it...

When is anyone in Turkey going to take measures against street dogs in Turkey? Maybe it is just time for the citizens to take care of the problem themselves and just throw poisoned food around because only this is the solution... and I say that as a guy who loves dogs and animals.

I heard some citizens are putting them down with guns.

A lot of people are taking matters into their own hands.

Lobbies everywhere.
Got bitten by a dog a block ahead of my house, shared the incident in neighbourhoods animal care whatsapp group. And i am a person grown in village with shepherd dogs in summer time! they simply told " man you should have posed a threat and teased the dog before hand or smelled like a cat" like damn, if a dog bites you, you must be the cause because the dogs are like the most mentally stable creature ever.

In Australia we dont allow dogs or even cats to roam the street.

Dogs in particular not just an invasive species they can also become feral if not dangerous street dogs.

It took quite a while to ban pitbull dogs thanks to Animal lovers and dog worshippers.

Interestingly, we had a dog problem in my home town. (I don't live there anymore) And becuase of corruption and mismanagement, city corporation couldn't take care of it. But at the time there was a big highway project going on. And a Korean firm was in charge of it. Apperantly, Korean engineers noticed a lot of dogs were roaming around so they asked about it....... they were told that these dogs were needed to be desposed off but unfortunately due to lack of resource, relevant people couldn't get it done. So they asked if they could help....ahmm....in a different way.🤣 (if you know what I mean)
The clever guy in charge allowed them on the condition of they would properly take care of the leftover and bury it. The result was spectacular, the dogs had gone extinct in my home town before even the project was finished.

These people don't know the dog psyche, they don't know their nature and behavioral patterns but they have an image in their head that dogs are all a bunch of innocent and loving creatures that can't harm nobody. The dog is only as good as the man who raised it- the same with children.

I have a dog, I have been around dogs, I have friends that are literally dog experts and enthusiasts... and all of them know that the only solution with street dogs that form packs and grown in numbers that can't be managed is to just kill them off. That's how they solved the problem in Bulgaria, that's how they solved the problems in Europe, that's how they solved it in America etc back in the days. Yes, they now have laws and regulation that are strictly implemented and they have dog shelters (where dogs are also being killed if not adopted after a certain period) but back in the days they were solving their problems with a bullet.

The same people that were once killing dogs... and Native Americans, and Negroes, and Gypsies, and Jews nowadays talk about human rights, about animal rights etc. And the useful idiots in Turkey that believe them don't surprise us once again.

What I love about cats how clean they are also more civilised than dogs.

I know domestic cats dont have the size or strength to kill a human.

You dont see them forming packs or killing humans unlike street dogs. I do believe stray cats should not be roaming around then again id rather have cats than dogs any day.

Cats hunt mice and rats. Also they get the special privledge of going inside a mosque.

simple solution is to have the people follow what they "virtue signal + vote" for.

The street dogs are suffering, no one's benefiting here (people or dogs coming into contact out on streets).

So they either go to the pound (screening, adoption and if not possible, euthanise), or you can have them in your house so you can practice what you preach.

At very least there should be neuter, spay program for all stray dogs after the animal rights crazies have been made to say a big fat nope on them hosting them, so their hypocrisy is exposed to all first.

Not all strays are bad, in HK as kid , my best friend and I would go exploring the nature area around his place and there was a friendly stray (probably abandoned) that lived in that area, and it would tag along on our adventures....jumping across the streams in our way better than we could.

Other strays are horrible, in Singapore one went out of its way to bark at me, coz its b***h was having pups right there nearby. Scared the heck out of me, I took a long detour to get home...and took me a while to figure out what the hell these two were up to there.

Later instance there was a whole pack of them approaching me as I was biking, I noped the hell out to the other side giving them wide berth...thankfully they just proceeded on their way ignoring me. Later Singapore culled them all (residents all complained enough and action taken concretely as some people were getting attacked and the city was also expanding in that area too), the problem in first place was this was on the outskirts of city and there was enough of a green forested area nearby they resided in easily and then come hunting for food etc in the urban area nearby.

Much earlier I saw in crazy downpour a whole bunch of them ripping apart a poor cat they had caught....right from my window apartment I saw it happen, till I could look no more. Those sound still haunt me....god damn things. Cant have guns in singapore, nothing i could do about it from where I was.

Worst ones are the large rural stray packs. My friend and his brother were both out hunting near their farm and they had to climb a tree and GTFO of the way of this massive pack that had them surrounded and wait till they left. That stuff was scary as hell...buddy still describes it to me from time to time, those close moments of making it up the tree, too many to shoot etc.....these two guys are about as tough as they come too.

Yeah if they got the ambush set up right and the bear is small enough (bears even brown bears vary in size a lot).

It wouldnt be worth the risk to take a full sized brown bear head on though (or even a mid sized brown head on). Ambushes on smaller guys are name of the game here for a tiger.

Browns are a completely different creature to a black bear (which are also smaller) in temparement and raw power and toughness. Polar bears as well, but theres no overlap between polar bear and tiger AFAIK.

Crazy thing is people believe all these titan battles are happening in the animal world.

When predators usually do their best to avoid each other.

For now, the a good way to deal with dogs trying to corner you when you have nothing to defend yourself with is to show them who is more animalistic. Raise your voice as much as you can and make them sense you don't hesitate to smack their sorry asses. Dogs can sense agressiveness and violent intent as much as they sense fear.

Got ganged up on by 3 dogs once upon a time and it worked. Our far far ancestors scared far wilder animals off that way.

TL;DR Return to caveman mode

This always worked for me. Got surrounded by big packs multiple times. Scariest was when i had my 6 months old german shepherd with me. At least 15 dogs came out of nowhere in the middle of the night, surrounding and trying to attack us. Banged the pot on my hand around, screamed my lungs out, made myself look bigger, also trying to hold on to the leash so she wouldn't go attacking them. That was one scary night and in the middle of Istanbul. Me and my dog could die that day if she wasn't trained and i didn't know what to do.

I love dogs, owned multiple dogs, smallest 20, biggest 60 kilos. I have a rescue dogo argentino and kangals at the family farm, and cared for pitbulls. I have a good relationship with all dogs, I love street dogs. But this is a problem that needs to be fixed, and as municipalities simply don't have the budget to no longer solve this humanely, there will be cullings in the next few years. No other ways around it. Kids cannot die like this.
