This always worked for me. Got surrounded by big packs multiple times. Scariest was when i had my 6 months old german shepherd with me. At least 15 dogs came out of nowhere in the middle of the night, surrounding and trying to attack us. Banged the pot on my hand around, screamed my lungs out, made myself look bigger, also trying to hold on to the leash so she wouldn't go attacking them. That was one scary night and in the middle of Istanbul. Me and my dog could die that day if she wasn't trained and i didn't know what to do.

I love dogs, owned multiple dogs, smallest 20, biggest 60 kilos. I have a rescue dogo argentino and kangals at the family farm, and cared for pitbulls. I have a good relationship with all dogs, I love street dogs. But this is a problem that needs to be fixed, and as municipalities simply don't have the budget to no longer solve this humanely, there will be cullings in the next few years. No other ways around it. Kids cannot die like this.

15 dogs?!?! What the hell? The most I saw at one place is maybe around 10. 15 dogs trying to attack... this sounds like a nightmare.

Let alone not being good at pr, some don't even think doing pr is necessary or helpful. Of course, that attitude is just an emotional reaction of people who see the flood of pr that is against them and cloak their defeatism in nonchalance, because fighting against that is a serious and time-consuming effort; and it requires hard work, knowledge and organization. So instead of trying to do all those hard things and still having a high chance of failure, we can pretend instead that it is all futile and we should just throw temper tantrums like a petulant child, which is what we are effectively doing most of the time; and that's not a good look and doesn't convince anybody.

This is prevelant for pretty much all Turkish companies. The few who does well, are mostly in a branch that doesn’t require promotion or PR.

The general mindset of Turks is still the same, why spend money on things that aren’t easily traced back to making money.

The recent incident in the capital Ankara, in which a 10-year-old child was seriously injured after being attacked by stray dogs, has once again brought the issue of stray animals to the forefront of public discourse.

Dogs running in packs needs to be shot and taken out, period!

How the fuck are you going to establish yourself as an Alpha on dogs that has gone crazy and are attacking citizens.

I'm pretty damn pissed at these retarded politicians. It doens't take much but give police a rifle with a scope and tell them to use it on those dogs. or have police use a drone with 5,56mm to hunt them down in areas with packs.

last solution, give the citizens right to clean up the streets.

The US has reason to support Morocco on these matters over Algeria. I think most members understand why (if you look at Algeria's main partners in world geopolitics compared to Morocco).

Morocco also occupies very strategic coastline and chokepoint of gibraltar alongside its large phosphate resources....and the monarchy has long history of good relations with the US (e.g. opening scenes of Patton movie where he is getting medal from the moroccan king iirc).

Interesting that Bolton was there with Baker....these two represent very different factions even back then and more so now on realist foreign policy w.r.t warhawk interventionism (Bolton is a through and through neocon warhawk, Baker is much more paleocon guarded conservatism type).

Yes, and even more now with Algeria visiting China to strengthen its ties, it seems like it has chosen its path. The US deputy assistant secretary for North Africa Joshua Harris visited Algeria a couple of days ago, in an effort to bring "regional peace", or let's say to decrease the tensions between the two states. I guess the message they got did not satisfy Algeria since they later the same day/or the day after closed the airspace of an American C-17 aircraft.

The Americans know that they can benefit greatly from Morocco, becoming the new leader in Africa, where major common work can be achieved. From what is apparent such cooperation has already started We are still waiting for the huge breakthrough by the Americans to open all its technology at the disposal of Morocco, which hopefully we might hear more about in the next years leading up to 2030.

I'm not well aware of the policies of internal American politics, but I know one thing. Bolton can believe whatever he wishes, but the American position will hopefully continue one way forward. Trump ruling on the other hand is better for Morocco.
