I just thinking that was the super insect tho 🤣🤣🤣

I dont want to be self sophiscating about subs and so on, for me its to luxury 😂

Oh my, my poor mentality wkwk
US weaponry need to be approved by senate and other "tetek-bengek" procedures. There's no way we can sign a the contract before the end of the year.

My guess are 30ffm, Scorpene, or Rafale.

I won't be surprised if it's actually the solutions offered by the French WG.

im allright with everything they choose to substitute the "anjing kampung" contract in the end , whether they choose German Shepherd or the French Mastiff , as long as they commited to the contract .

So what stuff that we get ?

Sorry i post here, dont know wether its Navy, Army, Or Air Force one
Referring shipyards as OEM sounds a bit odd. And also "submitting proposal" sounds odd for a procurement Indonesia will make, it is rather Indonesia has requested a proposal (budget, plan etc) and the supplier has submitted it after negotiations, it doesn't make sense for a proposal to come out of nothing.

If he didn't make any mistakes with the writing i would assume someone has proposed:
either, local-licensed production of some parts (electronics-sensors) and establishing a factory in Indonesia thus they submitted a request, and OEM fits for them.
or, someone is about to buy something from Indonesia, which is less likely based on what he wrote.

If i didn't know his stance against Japanese systems,i would definitely say this would be Soryu or 30FFM, since it is only Japanese has visited a shipyard and probably submarine docks and also offers local production, low interest credit, ToT in considerable amount and the negotiations have been positive so far but again, in this case why would Japan do a direct request instead of inking a bilateral agreement (it suits well if Indonesia has requested the proposal to get the approval from state but again, we know his stance on Japanese systems) ?

He has been ranting about 30FFM and Japanese dominating the market in Indonesia which can make us only think, the Soryu negotations have been positive, thus he has earlier ranted about Japanese domination and lastly told about this procurement.

Lastly, win-win part, a true win for indonesia beyond this point wouldn't be just local production but extensive training of personnel, ToT in design and production of critical parts ability to conduct advanced calculations or acquiring rights of the designs for re-sale like Makassar Class. Win for the seller should't be something for money especially if it is DCNS but rather offering lower prices and making sales through Indonesia in SEA however, this conflicts with previous consideration of license rights.

He is salesman through and thoroughly, what he called win win maybe and most likely is not in according in many Indonesian member taste.

But so far, Indonesia had quite late to introduced newer weapon system to replace the old ones for example system urgently needed to be replaced like Van Speijk class and Parchim class, the other thing is system to replace our very old Command ship from Japan acquire in 1960's and so many other like air defense system in which still using S60 system, fleets of old obsolete light tanks and tracked APC's, Submarine who far from ideal number and Frigates and Corvettes who far from ideal condition right now and beyond their useful condition and so on, the very number of Aircraft fighter which is in chronic situation in which you need to carefully made use of them or you would put them soon into Maintenance Depot and so lacking in number further just to do some peaceful patrol routine and training will become a luxury, so any deals to decently alleviate such situation would be win win solution at this points of time.

Speaking for naval programs, Indonesia can handle replacement of Van Speijk and Parchim on their own, PT PAL isn't at the same place in design as they have been in the past, a lot better, and with minimum interference of foreign suppliers (indirectly as subcontractors) an ASW Corvette - Patrol vessel - Multi Role Corvette can be designed and built, it needs money and effort and not just some sketched but well worked design. It is a must, the design should be entirely local from scratch, not assisted (in major terms) or aided (designed and delivered as packages) from foreign sources or partners like some private companies does and competes in such a way.
the command ship would be easiest among them (except electronics) ,considering the abilities on Makassar class both in construction and modification.

I had two or three reputable Shipyard in Indonesia in my mind who can handle large military order of Naval warships, first is PT PAL, second Daya Radar Utama (though they had been mirred with corruption case lately), third Citra Shipyard and Batamec Shipyard. They sure all can handle less complicated order like OPV, Small Missiles boats , LST, LPD and Oiler & logistic vessels but for the much complex system like Frigates and Corvettes except for PT PAL who had much experience , most of them had to undergo qualification and certified test and being assisted by foreign advisor to accumulated experience before taking the rein to handle such project alone.

At the same time we are trying to nurture PT LEN to handle electronic system (in which the most expensive stuff) along with PT DI and Pindad to develop other sub system needed for an actual warships.

LST, LPD and Oiler
These three actually not simple, depends on configuration and what is requested from them. and for OPV it can again depends on sensors and capabilities, can discuss later in appropriate threads. Lets say these shipyards have been lucky on those platforms so now it looks easy.

Navy should only be responsible for the state external oriented policy, defense purpose, OMSP and be prepared for high time contingency incident when BAKAMLA is not adequate to handle such high profile jobs.
