Judging from its condition, the 405 are undergoing recoating process, and the fire are caught up at 2 point.
Anyway, from 5 subs, only 1 that still meronda.

Might have suffered corrosion at the sea, might be result of malfunctioned passive-active charge control or some other simple charge leaks. such pictures shouldn't be allowed to be taken and roam in social media.
It is casual for anything in /on sea to suffer something in trials.
Or simply it is a maintenance after sea trials, scheduled maybe needed or requested by customer.

HY 80/100 class steel has a shiny-blackish color when slightly corroded, thus it may look like remains of a fire.

Any SSK is generally already very quiet when running under battery power (very little moving parts). The challenge is more on the combat system, particularly in acoustic signal processing. Also keep in mind that the shallow water parts of Indonesia is already too crowded thus extremely noisy due to all the sea going activities

I won't worry about any new (suddenly appearing) tukang gorengan or tukang tahu bulat. There is no way they can stay in one spot too long without raising any suspicion. Tukang bakso & Ojol on the other hand could always stay in a single while openly "playing" with their phone without raising any suspicion. Personally I typically notice whether their "rombong" is new and what it's made of (real tukang nasi goreng only use rombong made out of teak not from some cheap woodwork) and took a quick glance or whatever electronic presence particularly large capacity power bank.

Imho what looks like a smoke is actually the hull being blasted with water and the black area is the hull already cleaned. Please differrentiate a fire hose with the long metal tube hose of a sand or water blast. If there is fire we will be seeing in the pic fire trucks and firemen on standby around the sub and the dry dock. The Alugoro have been undergoing trials at sea for several months so maybe its time for her to be cleaned up for the upcoming handover ceremony. And for the other sub we can see a small tent.

Btw, even if the Submarine picture doesn't give much information for amateur but still such picture better to be left on flash disk or hard disk and doesn't put on open source such this is. For professional they can give a lot of information.

If authority had posted it in public platform, it means safe. If you got something interesting and they don't intend to publish it, it means you should keep your mouth shut for your own betterment.

Our potential adversary has already known what they need to know. Major asset deployment is not something you can hide these days. The best you can do is to obscure details. For example asset A is currently deployed at Banda Sea (that still a lot of sea to search for)

And beside its very easy even for anyone (private citizen & private funding) to get the latest pictorials from PT PAL dock. It's not like there is any covering on that dry dock you know. And just like any other countries, docks are typically open space for anyone to see from overhead
