I like the way how fast the Japanese move after the green light has been shown. And of all those China, Middle east countries who have shown commitment to the invesment here, the record shows Japan has the highest realisation.

This multiple commitment/deals pursued by both side have a great chance to materialize compare to other deal currently being done IMO. I would love to see the FFM-30 or their variants being build partially here. Ganbatte!!!

Theoretically YES. As long the vessel (any type) have the necessary C4 capabilities. However, a command ship need to be out of harm way for the obvious reason, thus using a surface combatant to perform C2 role would effectively be taking that particular ship out (less number of available combatant)

AAW Destroyer could be a command ship.

but it would be good if we have a dedicated command ship like the USS Blue Ridge, maybe basing its hull from a Semarang class???

Semarang class or Bintuni class can be considered, but they need to adjust their engines and generator system so they should have higher electricity generation output to accomodate more complex electronic system and equipment regarding their roles as Command ships

A dedicated ship will be better for fusion of all assets (UAV - Land based radar- Airborne radar etc) for the future -network centric warfare.

Gado gado in water is not really much of a problem as long as its only hull , the engine weren't going far from MTU , MAN , Caterpillar option , but can japan bear indonesia request if they ask to use european weapon and subsystem instead ?? .

The original plan years ago was for it to be built based on LPD design after PAL finish the first hospital ship, but then the MoD decides that they would order second hospital ship after the first one done apparently. It seems like the order for dedicated command LPD is on hold for now.

Or just stay with Japan original system. Looking at fighter procurement, logistical issue definitely out of the window now!
