"The two ministers know each other well. At the start of the year, discussions began relating to the Rafale, but also four Scorpène submarines armed with the Exocet SM39 missile and two Gowind corvettes of 2,500 tonnes. Still according to La Tribune, Indonesia might want one more submarine."

^ According to the news Indonesia is looking at four Scorpenes with an option for one more.

We still need 7 more, right? So 4/5 from France and probably 2/3 from Turkey (used ones).

The original plan years ago was for it to be built based on LPD design after PAL finish the first hospital ship, but then the MoD decides that they would order second hospital ship after the first one done apparently. It seems like the order for dedicated command LPD is on hold for now.
1st Hospital ship? Do you mean KRI Semarang?

AFIK, she's not originally built as a Hospital Ship and converted to it in last minutes due to the Lombok and Palu earthquake & tsunami (two major disasters happened almost simultaneously)

LOL better question is would we be willing to fork out more money to pay for the integration of EU made weapon and sub-system ?
If we ever thinking about our future in house ship building capability that too would be added in the contract agreement as part of technology transfer scheme .
The big question is do we ??

I don't think Indonesia needs Gowind in a package beyond this point, with Hensoldt +Terma partnership, Indonesia can easily acquire any of the Sigma classes customized for the navy's needs.

Nope, it's the first dedicated hospital ship by PT. PAL a.k.a. the one they currently building in their yard (the one after KRI Semarang).

The old plan was to built the command LPD after the first hospital ship finished, but it turned out the MoD following order for the next ship was another hospital ship (W000302) most likely due to COVID reasons. So the order for command LPD either on hold or pushed back for later date.

I see

Talking about Semarang, since she still retains the name of a city rather than 'KRI dr xxxxx', I think she will be converted again as standard LPD once the 1st Hospital Ship launched

Before, the same authority had issued certification of usage for Swamp Boats products produced by local company PT. Mega Perkasa Engineering. This Swamp Boats will be used by the same Special force units of the Navy

Well, we've tried to build our domestic (war)shipbuilding with SIGMA program, twice even with both the corvette program and the PKR, and the outcome was abysmal due to multiple factors.
Or just stay with Japan original system. Looking at fighter procurement, logistical issue definitely out of the window now!
When it comes to naval systems it can be better mitigated though, as it actually allows some degree of customization, bearing some added cost. I'm more interested if we actually sticking to original specs with the propulsion system as originally the 30DX class will be equipped with CODAG, but due to our alleged "allergy" towards gas-turbine engines, it will be interesting to see if there are any changes in that aspect.
