No wonder Ukraine is losing with this guy at the helm

What a stupid comment in the attachment: Zelensky seeking fame and fortune. The guy already had fame and fortune before he became president.

He is not a bad helmsman. A country that, on paper, stood no chance of resisting the Russian onslaught for long is still there 2 years later.

I think Zelensky's more than a little naive & unwise, and thus still can't grasp that the outcome of this fight's inevitable, but yeah, that's clearly a hit-piece by some pro-Russian whatever.

Does sound like the Ukrainians are aiming to prepare themselves, quote, "morally and psychologically" to lose more territory this week though. I kinda figure by this point the military higher-ups, like with the general Zelensky fired months back, basically know the jig is up at this point. But it's definitely going to be a long drawn-out thing of acceptance for the civilians in government, rather than a rip-the-band-aid off situation.

EU has to have the most incompetent leadership ever In the history of mankind.
So much extreme potential yet completely incompetent, increasing inflation and poverty, a host of internal issues and problems, lack of innovation and slowly losing the battle in terms of technology and investing in ai and the future vs China, India etc.. and instead of investing their money in that they keep throwing it away for countless external things all over the world.
I predict in 30 years the EU will have an even much greater poverty and completely lag behind the world leaders in many areas, they are quickly going towards being a 3rd world country in the far future, you can't make this up lol.
According to the latest figures I read, probably August, inflation was 2.2%. Poverty? I cannot give you a figure but the EU is rich by world standards. Average income: around €28,000 a year.

Took me less than 5 minutes to check the income level. You would do well to do a little checking before informing the readership of this forum.

Ukrainians already lost Crimea and parts of the Donbass.

If Zelensky surrendered when Russia invaded Ukraine what did you expect the guy to do cut and run?

Russia was already going to take piece by piece of the country.

Same with Palestine and Lebanon as Israel wants it all piece by piece. You either go down fighting or be remembered as a coward. Ukrainians already had enough of Russia invading. You cant reason with a bear.

Breaking Significant News!!

Ahead of Zelensky's visit to Washington this week, USA 🇺🇸 is set to announce an $8.2 Billion usd military aid package for Ukraine tomorrow. $2.4 Billion usd will come from USAI and $5.8 Billion usd will come from Presidential Drawdown Authority.

Here is how it will work and why the package is going to be so large. The Presidential Drawdown Authority funding in the bill that Congress passed in the spring is set to expire on the last day of September. Because Republicans are unwilling to pass legislation that will extend the viability time frame for the funding, the Biden Administration has chosen to spend all $5.8 Billion remaining PDA funding in one shot. They will announce what will be transferred from U.S. stocks with that funding tomorrow, however, the items will actually be shipped in stages between now and January 2025, when a new government comes into office and the decision is made to either pass more funding for Ukraine, or withhold it.

Therefore, expect an enormous quantity of military hardware to be announced tomorrow. It will be the largest package we've ever seen announced in terms of material. Just know that it won't all ship immediately. Rather, Ukraine will get about $1-$1.5 Billion usd per month worth of those weapons and equipment for the next 6-8 months.

Sadly it is at risk if not all shipped before the next US president takes office. If Trump wins, he could put an indefinite hold on undelivered aid.

That'd be pretty damn unfortunate if true. Probably gonna have to wait for more sources.

All that being said, the F-16s were never the magic bullet game-changer the transfer was hyped up to be. They're useful, but yeah, were never going to change the state on the ground in a big way. They're not anything the Russians don't have an equivalent of really.

I guess that some of their usefulness is in increasing the number of fighters the air force has after the losses during 2.5 years of combat.

I think I have read that the radar on the donated F-16's is better than the radar on Ukraine's Mig-29's. If that is right, being able to detect Russian aircraft, cruise missiles at a greater distance is an improvement in capability.

Poland compared their Mig-19 and F-16 fighters in a report. Link to download pdf:

Per leaked dossier on Trump campaign's vetting of JD Vance, one of the major flaws the Trump campaign enumerates as a con against him is that

  • “Vance has been one of the chief obstructionists to U.S. efforts to providing [sic] assistance to Ukraine.”

And that:
  • “Vance ‘embraced non-interventionism.’”
  • “In 2020, Vance criticized President Trump’s airstrike killing Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, worrying it would continue to bog down America in the Middle East to the advantage of China. Vance suggested that the country had been entangled in wars in the Middle East so ‘financial elites’ could profit from the rise of China.”

So you can rest assured all the big talk about being anti-NATO anti-war and shit is just pandering for domestic purposes.

The dossier has been hacked by Iranian hacker group and American media has had it for days now but they've refrained from publishing due to pressure from state dpt. due to the fight against "foreign malign influence.” An independent journalist published it today.

EDIT: "free speech champion Elon Musk btw"; "Empty vessels make the most sound."

IF UKRAINE AND its Western backers are to win, they must first have the courage to admit that they are losing. In the past two years Russia and Ukraine have fought a costly war of attrition. That is unsustainable.

In my opinion Ukraine would not have survived long without the US sending it US weapons. However, my view is that the US priority is not the liberation of Ukraine but rather the attrition of Russia economically, militarily and financially by this war. I think that US reluctance to give Ukraine its best chance of expelling the Russian army has resulted in Russia building remarkable defences on the Ukrainian territory it has occupied. The US has repeatedly delayed providing Ukraine with the weaponry it requested. It has repeatedly vetoed other countries allowing Ukraine to use weapons provided by them (not the US) to their best effect- for example, blocking use of Storm Shadow and Scalp against Russian bases used to attack Ukraine.

I think that the damage caused to the Ukrainian army, the Ukrainian people, Ukrainian infrastructure, the Ukrainian stock of houses and apartments has been magnified by what I see as the US prioritisation of weakening Russia through a protracted war.

Ukraine has been put in a position where, in my opinion, the possibility of it regaining the ground lost since the invasion has effectively disappeared. I see attacks on military bases, infrastructure, arms production facilities, oil and gas facilities etc in Russia as Ukraine's only real prospect of forcing Russia out of the territory it has taken since the invasion.

I agree with the journalist's assessment that Ukraine is losing. Its human resources do not match those of Russia. It cannot win by defending against Russian attacks. It needs to neutralise the sources of attack in Russia.

PS Russia is losing economically. Critically, it is running out of the labour needed to man both the productive economy and the armed forces.

This war should be a wake-up call for Europeans about what being allied with the US actually means. Europe needs to decouple its defence industry from the US, and build a strong and independent arms industry.

European countries should focus on defence and building a big arms industry no matter the cost, if Europe wants to remain an important player in world affairs. The US has fooled Europe since WW2 with the illusion of safety under NATO, making Europeans abandon their domestic weapons industry and relying on an unreliable ally.

Europe needs to wake up and realize that its future lies in the ability to defend itself and project power, not in social benefits and entitlement programs.

This isnt exactly true
Russia isnt losing economically at all

1- Core Russian population still remains untouched till this day
2- Oil and Gas revenues have increased in 2024 to outpace all of 2023 and still 3 months are left till the end of the year
3- GDP is expected to grow at around 4-5% which is higher than any European nation
4- Overall prices in Russia are lower than nearly all of the EU and USA
5- Russia has successfully transitioned to a semi-war economy while Europe is still unsure about what to do
6- it is clqimed that Russia has so much money that it is reported that mercenaries's ratio compared to Ukraine's is 4:1; i-e, for every mercenary fighting for the UAF, 4 are fighting for Russia

Meanwhile...

1- Half of Ukraine's population have left the country while another 20%-30% will probably die as a result of this war
2- Ukraine's Debt reached levels that it can never repay even in a thousand years
3- Ukraine's loss of nearly all of Kherson, Donabss and Luhansk constitutes around seven trillion dollars worth of resources which is half of the value of all of Ukraine's proven resources
4- Morale in the army is low
5- Zelensky's approval rating is rock-bottom and public anger is on the rise

This war's result has been clear ever since Zelensky refused the peace plan in Istanbul.
Zelensky's role is to destroy the Ukrainian people and erase them from history in order to fatten the wallets of the tycoons in the USA as well as to reinforce American control over Europe
