Using a combat-proven product is a good thing but they don't have to be proven in Korean War under Douglas MacArthur.

NMS 4x4 uses composite material as armor, i would say Rolex of APC.
Qatar purchased them.

Thanks to composite materials it weights just 10000kg.

If i were decision maker , i would donate NMS 4x4 with SUNGUR + 40mm ATOM + Retinel AESA plates to Turkish Land Forces .

Really cool looking with SAMs just need to add 4x compact AESA and40mm ATOM launcher.

Long in short NMS 4x4 best candidate for SHORAD.

I just want a civilian version of NMS 4x4. This is one of the sexiest 4x4 utility vehicles out there. It is 100 times more charismatic than the HMMWV's, civilian version of it would sell more than the Jeeps.

Turkish defense manufacturer FNSS unveiled its conceptual design of the Kaplan Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) at the Saha Expo in Istanbul. The armored vehicle was jointly developed with Indonesia’s state-owned arms company PT Pindad in continuation of their long-term cooperation agreement signed in 2015 to meet the Indonesian Army’s requirement for a 30-ton-class tracked personnel carrier. The latest Kaplan APCs are set for production by 2025, with work on the first vehicle to take place at FNSS facilities in Turkey and the second at PT Pindad in Indonesia. They are scheduled for delivery to the Indonesian Army by the end of 2026.

this new pointing 2022, actually it is end of 2022 begining of 2023 so almost two years passed. M60 TIYK project going very well but no sign about Leopard 2 TIYK, Germany may be obstructing some issues ?

Yeah technically 2022 but since the contract with Aselsan was signed in May 2023, we can say that it started last year. Because most of the parts will be from Aselsan.

But later on the project was brought together under BMC management, now Aselsan is integrating its own electronic systems under BMC management.

I'm okay with them upgrading aluminium death boxes we already have but I might lose my mind if they ordered a new batch.
