In the most likely case it will be 4 Exocet block 3. Putting more than 8 AShM in a single hull is pointless. You can't sink a vessel of any size by punching a hole on it. At best AShM can only "mission kill" but not sinking. Sinking is the job for submarine with Heavyweight Torpedo

Well that's what i get, but still design phase is on going and taking time

type 26 use sea wolf vls for CAMM missile.
type 26 use ExLS (i dont know if they change it or not)
until now i only know exls and GWS-26 vls that CAMM missile can integrate to.
no news on mk. 41 and sylver vls.
it can quad pack onto mk41, ExLS basically mk41 lite and the italian navy is replacing their Aster 15 with camm-er which use sylver VLS

It can be packed into Mk41 via ExLS HOST, can be quad packed into ExLS too..
Type 26 morelikely comes with 4x 3 cell ExLS for flexibility on space, or 3x4 cell VLS from UK if they have got any.

I'm curious as why Naval Group haven't developed their own Lithium-ion power pack and still relying on AIP despite the lesser energy density of the AIP compare to the Lithium-ion

Riachuelo class have standard submerge time but longer Patrol time. I think we have to put aip to that extra space instead so ours can get submerge longer.

well DCNS said variant of Riachuelo so we didn't really know if the AM2000 is part of that variant , personally i would rather go with AM2000 if we really wanted to match our red dot neighbour capability , They used new hydrogen fuel cell AIP and X Rudder config .

but perhaps DCNS offer us S-BR because we had the same tropical environment , like brazil .

More like due to price consideration than anything else. Although Brazil is indeed a tropical environment just like Indonesia, the maritime environment is extremely difference. Brazil maritime environment is oceanic (blue water), while most of Indonesia maritime environment is littoral (green water in the most literal sense)

I still remember reading a newspaper about finding air asia qz8501, where they literally swapped the Bung Tomo's for the Burke and vice versa, maybe tryin to fool the general masses.
My bet goes on:
they tasked someone to find a 3D model of a frigate, s/he found that one for free and just delivered as is.
this might have happened 10 or more years ago, and the same model is re-used whenever needed. :)

And tbh not everybody knows about the ships, as long as it resembles the target one they just place any picture they have found (mostly from stock images for free or low cost)

And what's wrong with using WW2 era gun? A gun is a gun is a gun no matter how old the design! What really matter is whether you can hit your intended target with it (bullet placement). In actual practice it's always "The men behind the gun" that count not the gun itself.
A gun is a gun but I think for a rifle of that age (and rarity), it deserves to be in someplace nicer like a museum.
