Looks like they are start to widen their aerial insertions techniques other than just parachuting (HAHO and HALO/MFF without wingsuits) and rappelling from helicopters.

Don’t forget that Kopasgat also known (start) to doing training with paramotors. Hamas led October 7th incursion to Israel which included the usage of paragliders may gave them slight of ideas about its potential.

It’s not new thing that non-state actors be trend setters for low cost but quite effective stuff like that. Yes, there are Kopasgat or other TNI personnel that have paramotor pilot qualifications even before October 7th, but this paratrike, looks like it is a more systematic effort from top-down.
