I understand the reason he and the Turks are happy right now, but one day they will understand the reason the ancient Greeks depicted the goddess Νίκη, Victory with winds. What we see happening in Syria right now might just be like a movie trailer for what will happen to a certain neighbor of Syria one day. There are many people who would prefer to see whatever happens to Syria right now happen to that neighbor, and I don't even mean the obvious Greeks, Kurds or Armenians.
YOLO, enjoy your victory until the goddess Νίκη decides to spread her wings to fly to another nation(s).
Cant relate to the religious aspects of your statement as Iam not a follower of your belief, but I do agree that one day Turkey or any other nation may fall as well. However, we ought to ask how will it fall? Assad's fall didnt occur in a day or two, it was the result of cruel dictatorship of both him and his father, an overinflated ego, and the fact that he took nearly 80% of his own citizens and either threw them as refugees abroad or subjected them to prohibited chemical attacks

In islam, we have a really common saying that states: "God is fair and equal to all, regardless of being a believer or not, with Islam being the ticket and the proper way of life to succeed in the final test that every human faces at the moment/time of death"

God gave Assad more than 30 years and yet Assad remained an asshole. God even saved Assad back in 2012 from impending doom/rebellion and gave him 12 more years to fix his rule, and yet Assad remianed an asshole. Thus, as the famous saying goes: "Karma is a bitch" and "what goes around, comes around" fits Assad's situation perfectly.

Assad was soo stupid that he failed to understand that one of the reasons for his sustained survival was Turkey preventing the HTS from launching a counterattack for years in order to counter rising YPG influence. Assad's arrogance was too high that he believed that he can do anything he wants regardless of the will of his own people as long as Russia and Iran protects him and now we see the result

So we come again and ask how do nations/rulers fall? That is simp,y by the following:
1- Lack of nationalism
2- Lack of identity
3- Lack of national unity
4- Corruption
5- Lack of morals and spread of LGBTQ bullshit
6- Lack of rule of law
7- Lack of proper education and a national policy for the advancement of sciences, mathematics, and art
8- Spread of nudity/corruption of the women of society (since proper women are those who eventually end up raising the proper next generation..... yup its not men)
9- Cruel dictatorship that prioritises one ruling class over the other such as Assad and his Alawites clan
10- Lack of proper services and infrastructure to serve the people

As long as any nation meets most of these criterias, it is eventually bound to fall and this is what History taught us. Why on earth do you think that Europe and the US are on a downfall? It is exactly because of the fact that they are nearly meeting all of the following criteria and that is also why nations like China are set to rule the world in the future

This all started after the election of Trump.

Trump has repeatedly said that he will end American engagement in Ukraine, europe and middle east. Instead, people behind Trump wants to rigthfully concentrate on China. They realize that Chinese industries are talking over a lot of their previous industries, markets and creation of an alternative payment system (which is also supported by Turkey) will be the end of american world currency status or hegemony.
If America lose the world currency status, Usa will see double digit inflation for long time, creating internal problems.

America have about 10 years until China reach economic and possibly military parity (in Asia) with USA. As a valid response to these concerns, USA is shifting her engagement towards China, leaving Middle East + Europe. This engagement have the very high probability to become a hot conflict so they need to ramp up all the propaganda machines in west. USA is openly pushing hard for an open conflict with China.

However, current American officials realize that they cant just leave Middle East without securing their gains, including for Israel. So they really have to limit Iranian (=future Chinese) influence as much as possible around Israel. the rest of Arab countries are easily controlled dictatorships.

Hence, the current Biden+pentagon officials allowed the current Turkish operation against Assad to limit iran/russia/Chinese in Middle East before trump takes office as he could abruptly order a complete evacuation without any planning for the future.

Keep in mind that USA+EU have always been against any Turkish operation in this region but they are very very quiet this time. Much of the problems in Syria and EU including Brexit would not have happened if Usa+Eu had they listened on Turkey 10 years about creating safe zones in syria. EU+Turkey would have 5 million less refugees and potentially would have had a significant effect on the Ukranian war. Life is a bitch sometimes with unintended consequences. this time, these consequences can cost America their world currency domination in the long term by being bogged down in middle east and ignoring China for the last 25 years.

In essence, this is a combined Turkish, American and Israeli operation to protect american influence in the region for a potential future hot war with China. For Usa, it is better that Turkey is taking over the the role as dominant power in Syria, Lebanon, Palistine than Iran (=future china). Israel can not be allowed to take over as that would just ensure a continued war and american engagement for another 50 years.

Concerning YPG/PKK/KCK, i don't know if trump/americans will keep protecting them against Turkey or throw them under the buss. We will see in the next few weeks but talks about Ocelan in the turkish parliament indicate that we will not be allowed to touch certain regions but take over some (like mumbic/tel refit). We will see in the next few weeks about these plans.

Ps. As a side note, allowing Turkey back into the F35 project is also part of the overall strategic changes in recent years by both Turkey and Usa.
In long term China has no any chance vs. USA. Fertility rate in China is 1.2, in US - 1.7 + large migration.

Russia economy is solely based on oil and their good oil wells are running out.

Iranian axis was weakened even before recent offensive and Trump will impose more sanctions on Iran.

Anyway I think that war in Syria will come to an end before Trumps inauguration. We will see what he will do next. That will solve some mystery.

As a person who knows both countries in and out due to me being born in Greece and being raised in Greece plus having ties to Turkey due to ethnicity, all i can say to this guy is that he is salty af.

As a person who wishes for both countries to finally start becoming friends by leaving historical stuff in the past, this person is dreaming of conquering Istanbul meanwhile 50%+ of young generation of Greece is living abroad and more and more of them going abroad.

I guess the wind of Goddes Νίκη is blowing towards Europe for Greek young generation, eh? 😂

Regime is done. Instead of protecting the city, they are busy destroying archives related to some of the worst massacres and extermination policies in human history. In anyway, the bloody era is over. The remnants of the regime and İranian milita groups will evaporate before 2025, let's see how many weeks the PKK can survive without active Russian support.

Now we see some countries trying to take a new position in the Arab world. But no, neither the Syrian people nor the people of Turkiye will forget this for generations.

During the famous "100 days", when Napoleon was approaching Paris, the capital's newspapers changed their epithets:
On the first day they wrote:
"The Corsican monster has landed in the Gulf of Juan".
The second news item: "The cannibal is heading for Grasse".
The third news item: "The usurper has entered Grenoble".
The fourth news item: "Bonaparte has occupied Lyons".
The fifth news item: "Napoleon is approaching Fontainebleau".
The sixth news item: "His Imperial Majesty is expected today in his faithful Paris".

It is said that this entire literary gamut was contained in the same newspapers, under the same editorship, for several days.

One wit remarked the same thing about "Hayat Tahrir al-Sham":
"Idlib monsters approach Aleppo"
"The cannibals are coming to Hama"
"The Terrorists Enter Daraa"
"The Usurpers have occupied Palmyra"
"Rebels approach Homs"
"Revolutionary leaders enter loyal Damascus" :)

A large number of opposition militants managed to cross into southern Syria even before the operation began. Even at the time of the Hama operation, they were acting with the calculation that the regime would weaken in the south as they pushed it from north.

It turns out that HTS propaganda videos with a chessboard and before that a militant holding a picture of Damascus contain serious spoilers. :)

Ardan Zenturk: "2020 LIBYA 2024 SYRIA. Turkiye is the only country that has succeeded in repelling Russia on its own, without the help of any of its NATO allies, on the contrary, despite their systematic obstruction, and in two different geographies... Even I am not talking about Karabakh we contributed, Azerbaijan Turks are fundamental."

There is also the issue of the Black Sea and the straits on the occasion of the Ukrainian war, which Ardan Zentürk did not mention. If Russia loses the Tartus base, it will be mostly wiped out from the Mediterranean zone, and it will probably take years to restore the Black Sea fleet to its former strength, after Ukraine war. Unfortunately, they have made the same mistake as the United States on many issues in region (trying to rise by trample Turkish interests), when there is so much that we can work with Russia and serve common interests.

Russian websites report that Sergei Lavrov, during a meeting in Doha, asked Türkiye Foreign Minister Hagan Fidan for security guarantees regarding two Russian military bases in Syria :)

Beklenen bir şeydi ama daha ilginç olanı Türkiye'nin bunun karşılığında ne talep edeceği.

Russia, which is negotiating for the base, is currently carrying out air strikes on the SNA and is concentrating on protecting the PKK.

And the same Russia again:

The flags and clothes used by ISIS were revealed in the RUSSIAN military base in Deir ez-Zor.

Well if these don't stop, signals should be given that Tartus might be on the menu.

I hope Turkey will not make the mistake to help Russia retain its Syrian bases. The opportunity to kick Russia out of the Mediterranean must be supported by all regional powers, including Turkey, Israel and the EU.

This is a huge opportunity that should not be missed. Russia needs to be taken out from the Mediterranean for good.

the security of russian forces are best guaranteed with Turkey taking over control of said bases.

Well, these are typical Russian methods :)
