@orko_8 's speech from Medyascope.

Although, i listened only a part (still listening), he identified some important facts;

For example CATSA sanctions against China and Turkey are identical. So, US treated it's NATO ally exactly like it's nemesis China.

We are all very angry for the way we have been treated. Also the double standard the two faced US has applied to Turkey.
But at the same time we have to accept the fact that if they wanted to, they could decimate Turkish economy. In this COVID stricken and very difficult world, our economy is so fragile that it does not need much to topple it over the precipice. To have a state bank with foreign reserves running in negative, domestic and foreign debt at record levels and being in a position to be paying more in interest payments than we actually make in a year is not conducive to a healthy economy.
They wanted to slap our wrists for being a bad boy. But whilst doing that they did not want to rock the boat.
The implications of these sanctions will be , hopefully positive on our defence industry. We may find it difficult to maneuver within the constraints of our own limited financial and technical means. But in the long run this will help us to be more independent.
But true independence will not be there until we break our financial and economic chains.

more trade with, iran, pakistan, africa and as much as possible fdi in those countries, you pointed right you are to vulnerable at this moment on any disturbance of economic relations with west. that would be some midterm strategy for 10 years ahead that could bring best benefit for you.

I want the government to stop spending money that isn't in the budget, I want them to start saving money from spending it on unnecessary projects and pay off the darn debt!

Not 100% sure if its real but this really shows what NATO and the s400 system is about. No one really cares if Russia can somehow collect data on the F35s via the AA system.

Dude, come on... you know perfectly well know that even 10 Pakistans, Irans and Africas can’t be compared to the West in anything. The markets, the technologies, the investments and the finances are controlled by the West and no matter what you do you can’t find a more lucrative alternative to them...
To stop trading with the West while turning our economy towards Iran, Pakistan or Africa is like exchanging a horse for a chicken... and the chicken have been dead for a week or something.

Turkey hasn't actually been an ally in years, on the contrary, so this was bound to happen.

Sure man, that i am aware of it, that is situation currently, but what i meant is to support pakistani or any other friemdly state and their growth and take adequate position in that process to benefit of it, follow example of china on miniscale, their approach is most effective, they build economy infrastructure amd creating more enviroment for consumption, after that they will ripe the furits. Do not know how much you can mimic that but your potential with west is at the peak and there is not much space for growth and to base your growt on western market. Let see example of Somalia, right now you give them lifeblood and build basic foundations, but guess who will build roads, infrastructure, export various products once they grow enough, by my opionion your eues should be directed to the states like that or similiar once, goodwill is strongest asset it economy, use it where you can.

India is the only option for US to counter china...we're bound to get a waiver for the S400
Biden administration would be a game-changer,from his words,looks like his administration would more be against Russia than China.

That wouldn't necessarily change the fact that US pitted India against china and has no other choice. Also, India will let go any other deal with Russia but S400

Logically, yes. Last 4 years have shown that Americans can elect a complete buffoon. To be fair, Indians too have done that over the last 2 elections.

İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Spokeperson has given an interview to Bloomberg where he says that “Turkey will develop its own defense industry in cooperation with other nations”.
“With or without sanctions, Turkey will continue to protect its national interests, develop its own defense industry and work with other nations as a sovereign country,”

Now if the fist sentence is taken out of context from the second part, then he is saying that we are a sovereign country and we can work with other countries as it is our right to do so.
But if the first sentence is also uttered separately. Then we can say that in response to the sanctions, Turkey will find other countries that will work with her. Turkey does not need US!

This sanction does not apply to subsidiaries of SSB; however, licenses submitted to DDTC which name subsidiaries of SSB are still subject to a standard case-by-case review, including a foreign policy and national security review. We are not imposing a prohibition on U.S. Government procurement from SSB as part of this action.
https://deccs.pmddtc.state.gov/deccs?id ... and_events

The sanctions (...) do not cancel existing contracts or prevent either side procuring vital defence needs - including parts for the U.S. F-35 stealth fighter still being produced in Turkey, or spare parts for Turkey’s F-16 jets. (...) The so-called U.S. CAATSA sanctions, designed to deter any country from agreeing military deals with Russia, also restrict U.S. loans and credits to SSB, although that is not seen having a significant impact.
