I could see a lot of CNC, but those are likely for the plastic parts. Are we producing the rotors, engines, chips and remotes as well. Or is that how an assembley line looks ?

They are making plastic injection parts where they are also making cloth hangers. A drone comes with electrical parts and avionics. Without making them locally there will be no drones to speak of.

Up until this last video, they seem to be focused on making civilian hobby drones, so it wouldn't be surprising that they sourced some parts from China. But it doesn't really matter because if military actually decides buy their military fpv drone, they can simply put a conditional clause that says your drone has to be %100 domestic or there is no purchase (or something to that effect). These things does not have state of the art electronics/engines/avionics that are hard to produce in the first place.

See, far more effective video. This will be a good addition to our arsenal, although I would love to see them adapt Wasp warhead as well (since this was most likely an M72 warhead). It would make a far better anti-personnel option than just a claymore imo.

Not really, it's just an ad. Not only Aselsan's turrets can already do this (auto target tracking, but also it is far easier to hit a drone going on a straight line instead of coming at you, full speed and trying to dodge.

By the way, Aselsan's Stamp system has been able to track automatically since 2005. I used it when i been at IDEF2005 and locked indian Dhruv helicopter while it conduct air show, also i open fire but unfortunately there was no ammo

Is it just me but Süper Şimşek and SST projects seem to go under the radar, or rather be on hold or on verge of being cancelled since Kemankes family have been 'released' to media?

We know SST have been fired several times during supersonic trials. Super Simsek mock-up seemed far more ready than Kemankes-2 back in the day. And in between, TEI announced of delivering a particular TJ to Baykar, so not thinking that Super Simsek or SST awaits for an engine.

Has anyone noticed any progress or any media releases on Super Simsek and SST?
