Görgün, who also provided information about the Defense Industry Agency's activities for 2025, stated the following:

"Our good news and expectation regarding land vehicles is that, by the very end of the second half of this year, our main battle tank will be out of serial production and delivered to our heroic army. This will be an important development. Additionally, our kamikaze projects, the completion of the M60 tank deliveries with at least two units per month, and the delivery of armored amphibious assault vehicles will take place.

Furthermore, the contracts for our next-generation 6x6 and 8x8 vehicles will be signed, the configurations and qualifications for special-purpose technical wheeled armored vehicles (ÖMTTZA) in 5 different variants will be completed, and the delivery of vehicles under the GZPT and ZMA modernization programs will be part of our activities related to land vehicles in 2025."

Adding to this. Looks like Korhan-35 has been renamed SARP 100/35 and is being depicted on an what looks to me like Pars Alpha vehicle on Aselsans site...

We also have Gürz on what again looks to me like an Pars Alpha Vehicle

This of course does not have to mean something but interesting that they have chosen this vehicle instead of their generic 8x8 APC they usually use.

Aselsan seems to have added also a new(?) turret to its collection which SUPRISE is actually equipped with an ATGM launcher named SARP 200/30:

Those Aselsan samples are more or less the same ones FNSS had on their Pars Alpha brochure

Interesting news. Spanish Indra and Otokar signed a deal to collaborate on land systems. Wonder what'll come out of it.

I'm looking at their website and they seem like they are mostly focused on radars, mission systems and communication systems, electronics and so on. I'm really curious now as well, this looks weird on paper. They are working on EF and A400M as well, mostly dealing with simulators and survivability.

FNSS GM Nail Kurt says contracts will be signed soon on YN-ZMA tender.

He adds it was late because of engine problem and deliveries will start this year.

Deleted newspage on Defenceturk but still available on TRT:

He means the ÖMTTZA program here, not YNZMA. ÖMTTZA is now 3 years behind schedule. Görgün also said last month that deliveries for ÖMTTZA would start in 2025. Unclear which engine will be used.

ÖMTTZA(100 vehicles. 95 sensor, radar, CBRN and command vehicles, 5 IFVs for gendarme) was signed in Dec 2019 and had a project length of 36 months. All deliveries were to be completed from 24th to 36th months. At this point, no deliveries have been made and program is 2 years behind the schedule. Boys in the army are still using M113s for these roles and gendarme still don't have their IFVs.

Tümosan was to deliver the engines for these vehicles. As we haven't heard anything from their development in years, I think Tümosan engines are left behind and they will probably use BMC's Azra if and when it becomes ready. What a sham. For this exact point, unless deliveries are complete, we can never, evet trust a procurement to go through. Another lesson in bad project management.

I see. I didn't know there was such a tender so I didn't pay attention to "Özel Maksatlı".

Would this mean YN-ZMA is also ready for delivery after signs ? I mean they'll use the same engines right ?

One FNSS Alpha per day to keep sadness away.

Special thanks to @AlterUnd for calling me upon hearing the confirmation.

The order includes serial production of 6x6 & 8x8 New Generation PARS ALPHA Armoured Vehicle configurations for the TLF Mechanized Armoured Units. In the first phase of the program, FNSS will deliver PARS ALPHA 8x8 Anti-Armour Squad and Armoured Recovery variants. In scope of the program, FNSS will also produce 6x6 variants. PARS ALPHA 6x6 command post variants will be configured with advanced mission equipment.

FNSS PARS ALPHA 8x8 prototype was able to successfully emerge from an intensive competition environment. Program was awarded after comprehensive field tests carried out by SSB and MOD.

“With this new vehicle, we have combined 35 years of knowledge, user experience and engineering to create the latest generation vehicle in its class,” said Deputy Chairman of FNSS Board of Directors, Oğuz Çarmıklı. “We rightfully earned our place with superior success from field tests carried out by SSB. And finally, we have reached the stage of launching the New Generation Vehicles Program, which we will produce PARS ALPHA vehicles for our Land Forces.”

The total number of vehicles for this initial order will be 25 vehicles. TLF is planning to acquire over 2000 vehicles with additional orders and number of PARS ALPHA vehicles are expected to expand over time.

PARS ALPHA: NEW GENERATION ARMOURED FIGHTING VEHICLE

Adaptive All-Terrain Mobility

Through all terrain and any weather condition, its innovative all-wheel-drive, ride-height control and all-axle steering system offers advanced mobility. The hydro-pneumatic suspension with adjustable ride height enables persistent cross-country agility, enhanced by a turning radius optimized for confined urban warfare. Overcoming 40% side slopes, 70% gradients, 2.4-meter trenches and 0.80-meter vertical challenges is a routine for its drivetrain.

PARS ALPHA will be the vehicle of choice for future rapid deployment forces worldwide with the ability to achieve maximum speed under road conditions. Thanks to its powerpack and advanced suspension system, which allow lowering the vehicle’s height for best road stability at high speeds. Its design ensures sustained vehicle mobility even with tire and/or wheel loss, keeping missions on track. An impressive operational range sets this vehicle apart, allowing for extensive deployment without the need for refuelling.

The vehicle also offers superior performance and reliability with its extended operational endurance, covering an impressive 5000 km of cross-country and on road drive, without any need for field maintenance.

High Level of Survivability

This next-gen vehicle brings revolutionized protection systems offering unrivalled resistance to mines, IEDs, KE threats and artillery projectiles. Mine blast attenuation seats, and positioning the driver and commander above the second axle behind the power pack compartment reinforces crew safety against very high-level of threats from all around the vehicle. This design approach provides unique KE ballistic protection especially at the vehicle frontal arc. Its hydro-pneumatic suspension system with adjustable ride height control can increase mine protection by surpassing a ground clearance of 60cm on demand. A gunshot detection system, laser warning, soft-kill and hard-kill active protection systems can also be integrated based on user requirements.

PARS ALPHA, incorporates positive pressure and face mask CBRN defence measures by providing a sealed environment within the vehicle. This feature prevents contaminants, enabling crew members to survive and maintain combat efficiency even when the outside environment is hazardous and lethal.

Its adaptable structural design and vehicle silhouette enables best in class lower profile while maintaining an extensive internal volume with open architecture. These features ensure the crew and dismounts remain fortified against external threats, underlining its role as a new generation asset for modern warfare.

Advanced Weapon System Integration

The new generation PARS ALPHA comprises the integration of advanced mission equipment and heavy turrets. Its versatile design enables to carry heavy payloads from medium calibre manned and remote controlled turrets, missile systems, heavy calibre turrets and artillery.

Unique Situational Awareness & Superior Crew Coordination

Since the late Cold War era, front-side-engine 6x6 and 8x8 wheeled armoured combat vehicles have followed a common design approach. In this traditional design, the driver is isolated at the very front of the vehicle, adjacent to the engine compartment, while the commander is situated behind the driver. Both occupants typically experience a narrow field of view while driving with hatch down position.

PARS ALPHA New Generation Armoured Fighting Vehicle features a revolutionized structural design by situating the crew and dismounts behind the power pack compartment. With its compact powerpack design, commander and driver are able to sit side-by-side. This new layout approach enables +180° real time optical situational awareness for both occupants.

It also enhances crew safety during long distance drives without opening top hatches at hostile territories. Subsequently it also ensures eye contact and improved coordination between the vehicle crew and the dismounts.

In addition to its unique optical field of view, the vehicle is equipped with displays and integrated 360-degree situational awareness cameras that provide both day and night vision for crew and dismounts.

Air Transportable with Strategic Operational Capability

The PARS ALPHA is compliant to modern military logistics as being transportable on highways, railways and compatible with a fleet of strategic airlifters such as the A400M, C-17 Globemaster, C-5 Galaxy, An-124 and Il-76. With this level of airlift compatibility, the PARS ALPHA is always at the vanguard, ready to establish dominance wherever the mission dictates.
