They've flown hundreds of sorties in 3 months, striking every single Syrian arsenal, air force base and port they could find. They struck chemical weapon research stations, old army bases with tens of thousands of tons of munitions inside so the new military won't have them. There is no "Syrian army" anymore, save for guys on pick up trucks and some light armor.

If that's not a "determined effort to degrade the HTS-dominated Syrian military", I think you'd only be satisfied with Desert Storm or Kursk.

I think Erdogan will outsmart Israel and America in Syria. He's already done it once by outsmarting America, Russia, Iran, and Israel combined. All four countries lost in Syria

Central Asian countries need allies and trade partners outside of their neighborhood. They're surrounded by Russia, China, Iran and Afghanistan, they're in a terrible neighborhood... As I've previously stated, the EU will partner with the Turkic World to navigate the era of the dying empires (USA and Russia) and the rise of China.

Turkey is the bridge that will connect both sides.

Whilst Europe is opening up to more coordination with Turkey, the Turkic states have been more cautious as of late. Think about this, all central asian states are putting up measures to curb Islamism. Meanwhile, Turkey's government buys land there to build mosques, religious schools etc. There's also the sensitive topic of the Israel-Palestine war. The central asian states don't want anything to do with it. Meanwhile, Turkish officials will bring it up at every OTS meeting as the main topic.

Turkey needs to fix its foreign policy and stop shoving religion into everything. Nothing about these recent events are personal, they're just sick of AKPs shit.

Reminds me of what the Hungarian ambassador once said about their meetings with Turkish officials always featuring at least one instance of someone bringing up support for Palestine only for the Hungarian side to politely turn it down and saying that they kind of accepted it as something that the Turkish delegation is obligated to do to satisfy Erdogan's demands.

In a nutshell, members of Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which Turkey also is a member, started to recognize Republic of Southern Cyprus as Cyprus one after another (which is also recognized by the rest of the world btw).

Think its different to that.... political recognition and start of diplomatic relations between Cyprus and the Central Asian republics I checked just now started in the 90s (i.e when the Central Asian Republics formed after USSR broke up):

Maybe the issue that popped up is more upgrading of existing honorary consulates (given sizes/priorities of each diplomatic corps) to full missions etc. (where the full sized missions are currently indirectly tasked through Russia etc currently by mutual presence there)

But this is a nominal thing to do (i.e expansion) compared to recognition and setting up official diplomatic relations.

Either way Turkiye operates in world reality and realpolitik already regarding this stuff with countries both big and small, as Turkiye iirc is the only one that recognises TRNC (and thus doesnt recognise Rep. of Cyprus).

i.e this realpolitik is already the situation within the OTS already w.r.t countries that are not Turkiye AFAIK.

The ABC groups are good to have on affairs of mutual intersection to make meetings and such easier....but really they dont envisage grappling much with heavier realpolitik geopolitics stuff most of the time, each country puts its interests first in the end as it sees fit to.
