If there had been state support, sea trials could have been carried out right now.
If we do not provide state support for such projects, we cannot introduce new products to new markets.

STM500 was something navy or SSB never asked for. STM went it thinking they could either get funding for more studies or bag a customer. Neither happened. It wasn't a "project" to be funded however.

SSB and Roketsan have no official range announcement, but there are hidden messages in the statements made.
"Space Program" , "TAYFUN"


I think there will be a 1500km range variant of the Tayfun.

Tayfun or whatever they want to name the product can be launched both from land and from a submarine or perhaps from a surface ship. For this reason we can expect several versions of it to be adapted for different launch options as well as target types. This will also mean several different range options. Highly likely that the next one up will be a 1500-2000 km range one.
