Iran? With JF-17Cs, they have much better radars than any of ours now, and probably better BVR missiles save for C5s.Azerbaijan deadass gonna have a stronger airforce then even Iran lol.

$4.6 billion contract for 40 JF-17C, announced by Pakistani government.
To me this deal feels expensive. Pakistan bought 20 J10CE for roughly $1.5 billion. Including associated systems.
That’s a big number for a country that only operated less than 15 Mig-29s for the last 30 years. 3 new squadrons? Costs make sense as they will need to buy everything associated with them and create squadrons from nothing. Multi year process. Its probably including the previous order of 24 JF-17s, so a total of 64 JF-17 Block 3s for $4.6 billion

Would make sense if Turkey was involved in increasing the numbers, it would maybe not be possible to buy jf17 for Turkey but if Azerbaijan bought more and stationed them in here temporarily as a stopgap measure under a unified command, that would make sense.initially it was 16, now increased to 40 with additional 24 aircrafts.
