Wow, that's a huge difference. Congratz to the Turkish engineers.NEB penetrated 7m C50 concrete reinforced with 25mm ribbed steel on top of that penetrated additional concrete block weighing 1.5 tonnes in tests executed in HABRAS test area.
NEB penetrated 90m of rocky area in real-world tests deployed from a fighter aircraft.
Similar US weapons can penetrate 1.8m to 2.4m reinforced concrete.
Serious question, can these kinds of neb bombs also be implemented in ballistic missiles as warhead? Like intead of dropping from planes but putting it on missiles as warheads. Like you have a hostile nation who you cannot come closer to with airplanes but you can however saturate its airdefences by number of ballistic missiles to destroy its fortified airfield?NEB penetrated 7m C50 concrete reinforced with 25mm ribbed steel on top of that penetrated additional concrete block weighing 1.5 tonnes in tests executed in HABRAS test area.

Ballistic missile are not that precise or you need to fire like 10 or so on the same target secondly fortified airbases? You can destroy the runway with regular HE warheads but the aircraft bunker would be difficult to hit but honestly I would just spam them on ad sites with high Fragmentation warheads and on runways that would leave the airspace exposedSerious question, can these kinds of neb bombs also be implemented in ballistic missiles as warhead? You guys know who i talk about and its fortified airbases.
Now I am going to play the devil’s advocate.SSB, ASELSAN, and ROKETSAN signed a significant cooperation agreement for the security of the Sky Homeland.
As part of the IDEF 2025 International Defense Industry Fair, a contract was signed for the development of the AESA Seeker (AGRAS 3101/AA) and the Missile-Borne Data Link for the GÖKBORA Long-Range Air-to-Air Missile System.
Yes. It is possible but only big ballistic missiles can carry a 2000lb payload. Tayfun Block 4, for example, might be a candidate for it. The range of the Tayfun block 1 will be severely reduced if a 2,000-pound warhead is attached to it. Tayfun Block 1 carries a 1000lbs class warhead.Serious question, can these kinds of neb bombs also be implemented in ballistic missiles as warhead? 1. This means that the Gokbora has not flown yet. Even if it has, it hasn’t flown to hit a target.
2. There is still quite a bit of work to be done. If Aselsan takes its time to develop a seeker head, then the missile’s readiness will be delayed significantly.
3. We were waiting for a liquid/gel fuelled Gökhan, which was tested and almost ready to be part of the inventory. Instead they gave us a meteor equivalent solid fuelled Gokbora. This was either because the Gökhan wasn’t ready or the top brass preferred the meteor equivalent.
In all honesty, gokbora is the logical choice. But it should have been that, from day 1.
Akbaba has flown with the solid fuel ramjet engine and is very close to its first delivery. Those missiles will use a similar engine if not the same engine. Aselsan will deliver AESA seeker of Gökhan in 2026. Seeker of the Gökbora will be a variant of Gökhan seeker if not the same. Sage and Roketsan are in competition. SANs don't like SAGE developing its own products and selling them like a company. They want SAGE to act as an R&D agency and doesn't want SAGE in the business/trade part as they think SAGE is undercutting them. MSB and SSB are also in a competition. SANs and private companies also have bumpy relations. SANs also have problems with each other. Now I am going to play the devil’s advocate.

Dynamics of AKP is far more tangled than the country's. It is hard to explain it by simply that reason. OkumuÅŸ left along with Varank. Change of the wind - change of the hand.Is that's why they changed the CEO/Director or the reason why the CEO/Director left SAGE?
They destroy the target by kinetic energy, maybe.60km range 122 Artillery rocket? got it a smaller warhead?

IDEF25: TAYFUN Block 4 Packs a Bigger Punch with More Reach | TURDEF
ROKETSAN has revealed the TAYFUN Block 4 ballistic missile with hypersonic speed and more size to carry a larger warhead and reach longer ranges during IDEF25.turdef.com
Well, we were wondering about Tayfun Blocks 2 and 3.
Apparently an 8m long version of Tayfun as Block 3 has already been tested to hit a sea target. This is the block that is being developed for the sea targets. The article however doesn’t clarify if this version is carrying a seeker head capable of hitting moving sea targets.
For Block-4 it has been revealed that the explosive head contains bunker buster punch.
The emphasis has been made to the fact that as these missiles are quasi ballistic and have suppressed trajectories, they do not enter space and travel at the altitudes where it is too low for exo atmospheric and too high for conventional air defence interceptors.
its bs this guy is trash talk just go watch his videos by Ulke TV bro claimed that som has 800 km range and that the americans are buying it from usEDIT
The official given range is 100 mile, not km.
I don't know this guy and if Admins/Mods know more about him and think his claim is BS, then please delete this post.
"Gökbora, with its 250-kilometer range and 100-kilometer no-escape zone, has surpassed the European-made Meteor missile. The Meteor had a range of 200 kilometers and a no-escape zone of 60 kilometers. With these figures, Gökbora is a step ahead of both the Meteor and China’s PL-15 missile."
FYI:
The no-escape zone is the zone within which there is a high (defined) kill probability against a target even if it has been alerted. This zone is defined as a conical shape with the tip at the missile launch. The cone's length and width are determined by the missile and seeker performance. A missile's speed, range and seeker sensitivity will mostly determine the length of this imaginary cone, while its agility (turn rate) and seeker complexity (speed of detection and ability to detect off axis targets) will determine the width of the cone.

Türkiye'nin yeni nesil hava Gücü: 'Uçsa sınırı aşar!' Gökbora füzesi ilk kez tanıtıldı!
250 kilometre menzilli Gökbora, görüş ötesi vuruş kabiliyeti ve yapay zekâ destekli sistemleriyle Türkiye’yi havadan havaya füze teknolojisinde dünyavideo.haber7.com
the posts and captions of SavunmaSanayist are sometimes quite juvenile. the guy is farming clicks with populist tweets. you'd expect half a million followers to bring some professionalism but not for that guy.Honestly guy don't trust turkish media when it comes to weapons capabilities my best sorces are Defenceturk, Savunmasanyist, (Turdef) and Kaner Kurt
