WHAT???

Selcuk Bayraktar:
"Turkey offers a wide range of munitions, including supersonic missiles. From the Bayraktar TB3, munitions are launched that travel at four times the speed of sound and reach 100,000 feet (altitude?). No one else in the world has this."

IHA-230?

Even our domestic missiles are inferior to American missiles, its best for us due to cyber security issues, please read wikileaks about CIA protego project that how stinger missiles can not be used from predefined geographic areas, and self destruction modules. They can apply easily to ESSM or other SA and AA missiles. You can not trust to USA if you are not Israel.

How do you know that our missiles are inferior to the US ones? Do you think that our airforce would accept an inferior quality a2a missile when they have been using the US built ones and know all their kinematics?
US missiles are not infallible either. We saw in Ukraine how after initial success the US built HIMARS were falling victim to Russian EW attacks.
We have been using 300 to 500km range artillery rockets and SRBMs for quite sometime. US never had a ground attack missile system with more than 300km. Only recently have they started to build the 500km range PRSM.
The Russians have Kinzhal and Zircon hypersonic missiles. US don’t have one yet. Our Tayfun is a hypersonic missile. Block4 version of it will be one that is a cut above the rest.

Yes, US may have the tech and know how to build more innovative missiles. But other countries are no slouch either.

It is normal for a country to develop technology about how to make the missiles they produce unusable by hacking them. Or develop countermeasures to make their missiles inert should they be used against them. It would be naive of them if they didn’t.

ESSM missile is developed and produced by a consortium of 12 countries. So they are privy to all technical details of this missile. The countries are: Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Turkey, the United States, Belgium and Portugal.

EW against GPS signals are becoming harder than before. The reason is new generation satellites are lower orbit than previous ones,so GPS signals gain power and more resistant to jamming, another aspect is military GPS signals carry a crypted key they call M code,is also resistant to spoof. Our country does not have its own GPS system and depends to America,Russia and European GPS systems.During war time our GPS guided missiles could not reach the signals,if they close it on our geographic area, just rely on INS makes CEP values worse.Navigation of warship and fighters also would be somehow effected. We must get our GPS sistems at least for local areas, like indians and,Japaneese did their systems. We are working on land based GPS jamming systems,to self defence.Meteksan working on called seymen,8/60 (sekizaltmış) made a Ms23 with 100 watt against all GPS systems for jamming, but 100 watt is not good, should be 1kW.Overall we have not our GPS systems to create signals and nor the sufficient Jamming systems to protect our land and seas, and this is reality not inferior thinking.

Do you think Aselsan guys are sitting on their laurels? They are aware of the GPS systems being blocked. We lived through it during North Syria operations.
To prove that without GPS they could find target, they used an Atmaca firing and hit the target with bulls eye accuracy in the middle of the sea. That was 5 years ago.

Without GPS a HGK bomb can hit target with a CEP of 10metres.

Akıncı has completed a firing test of Teber82 without the need for GPS with on board sensors and INS. This was done 3 years ago.

There is also the terrain mapping guidance that missiles like SOM use. Missile receives terrain pictures and co-relates that to the images in its data bank. It also has a picture of the target it needs to hit. Once it acquires it then it is game over for the target.

Anyone heard about Flamingo cruise missile developed by a group of friends in construction, game design, and architecture in Ukraine (according to Wikipedia)? It seems to be a joke! The missile has a 3000km range and 1100kg war head. Accuracy 14m. Developed in 3 years! Now my question. We have been hearing about Gezgin since at least 10 years. Where is it? What is the problem here? Is Ukraine so much better than us? It is high time now that Gezgin is revealed with at least 1500km range and better accuracy. The secrecy is of no value now, if Ukraine has such a missile, then we would look bad if we don't reveal ours.

As we see at İran vs İsrael , the missile doesnt matter today , everybody can produce a missile even groups like hamas , houthis or hezbullah but enemy can intercept it , bomb its production factory and faxk u hard . The problem is that missile should be high tech , steath , that when lunched to hit the enemy

First and foremost, I wouldn't put much stock in what Ukraine is saying mate, they are a PR machine, constantly exaggerating or downright making stuff up. Which is understandable, they are the underdogs in an uneven war and they have to keep churning out good stories to keep the Western public interested and invested in their plight.

Secondly, they are in war. War time economy, production and invention are a completely different matter than peace time, even if it might seem like we might be in a war any day now. Ukraine is spending more than half of its entire budget on military right now, something like 25% of their entire GDP. And most of that amount comes from foreign help. If we did that, we'd be spending more than 200 billion dollars in a year. On top of the amount of money they can spend, they are getting fuck ton of equipment and munitions from other countries as well. Since their biggest problem has been hitting inside Russia from the start, they have clearly prioritized that, whether its drones or missiles.

And last, there is nothing special in making a missile fly 3000 km. The more fuel you put in, the farther it'll go (I know it is an oversimplification but missiles with that kind of range has been around since 1950s). As I said, they can claim anything, nobody is going to question them on its accuracy even if they use it. And if it fails, we won't even hear about it. I wouldn't get worked up about it mate.
