Following the adoption of the Shusha Declaration, the Greeks are also considering this possibility:Would make sense if Turkey was involved in increasing the numbers, it would maybe not be possible to buy jf17 for Turkey but if Azerbaijan bought more and stationed them in here temporarily as a stopgap measure under a unified command, that would make sense.
That's weird, why now? They don't really need the planes if jf17s are arriving and what do they need to appease russia for currently? That many planes would make Azerbaijan disproportionately powerful for such a small population and economy, it would be costly to maintain with a gdp of 75 billionAccording to Russian Осведомитель, Azerbaijan wants to purchase 45 Su-35s for $4 billion, and wants to integrate Turkish/Israeli weapons/subsystems onto the aircraft. if the deal goes through, 45 Su-35s + 40 JF-17 Block 3s will be a very powerful force

Don't believe it. It's impossible. The Russians are too late. We would have bought these fighters 10-15 years ago, but not anymore. Spare parts for previously purchased military equipment and ammunition – yes. But nothing more.According to Russian Осведомитель, Azerbaijan wants to purchase 45 Su-35s for $4 billion, and wants to integrate Turkish/Israeli weapons/subsystems onto the aircraft. if the deal goes through, 45 Su-35s + 40 JF-17 Block 3s will be a very powerful force

I've been watching the Russian Air Force since the first day of the war. Neither the Su-35, nor even the vaunted Su-57, have achieved anything in the skies over Ukraine.
The Israeli Air Force took control of the skies over Iran in 36 hours. The Russians haven't been able to do that for three and a half years.
The actions of Russian military aviation in Ukraine are a complete failure.
As is their entire military campaign.
They fight just like their grandfathers did 100 years ago![]()
Many countries, to avoid dependence on a single supplier who could, at the most critical moment, cut off arms and ammunition supplies under some trumped-up pretext, purchase them from various countries. But no country buys weapons from its potential adversary. None of us would even consider the absurd idea of buying weapons from Armenia. Right? But Russia poses an immeasurably greater threat to us!Russians can't use Su-35s properly because they don't have proper munitions for them, attach modern AESA + Targeting Pod + access to NATO type guided munitions, then you have a monster on your hands, thats what India is doing with their Flankers, they have Litening targeting pods and developing their own munitions to use on the aircraft.
