Would make sense if Turkey was involved in increasing the numbers, it would maybe not be possible to buy jf17 for Turkey but if Azerbaijan bought more and stationed them in here temporarily as a stopgap measure under a unified command, that would make sense.

Following the adoption of the Shusha Declaration, the Greeks are also considering this possibility:

"...in the event of a military clash with Turkey, Greece should also consider Azerbaijan as a potential adversary, primarily its Air Force and special forces.

This provides additional capabilities to those Turkey already possesses, both tactically and strategically. For example, it provides the Turkish Air Force with even greater strategic depth, allowing it to launch airstrikes against our country from Azerbaijani territory with in-flight refueling, even if we destroy critical air targets—airports in Turkey's interior—with strategic weapons—the ammunition of our Air Force and Navy.

The Azerbaijani Air Force also operates MiG-21, MiG-29, and Su-25 fighter jets, which our country has never encountered in aerial combat.

On the contrary, as we saw from the Air Force's participation in the Turkish Anatolian Eagle 2021 exercises, the participating Azerbaijani aircraft, namely two MiG-29s and two Su-25s, will be training with Turkish F-16s, so they will be familiar with the "tactical behavior" of these aircraft on our country's battlefield.

Furthermore, the Azerbaijanis have two batteries with approximately 200 Russian S-300MMU2 anti-aircraft missiles, which Greece also possesses, with all the ensuing consequences.

The same applies to Qatari Rafale fighters, 12 of which, according to the recent military agreement between Turkey and Qatar, will be stationed in Turkey over the next five years.

The above concerns should concern personnel and political leadership before it is too late."
