From what's available, in the TUAF543 crash, tail separated first. It was found in a location farther from both the wing assembly and the cockpit and it can't be seen on the videos.

The whole ordeal had made me remember that in the past we supposedly were to co-produce the Ukrainian An-70 plane to replace our fleet some years ago. Whatever happened to that? I had completely forgotten about it until this tragic accident.

I can’t see propellers on the left hand side inner engine.
As per the US C130 accident shared by @Tornadoss at a previous post here, the propeller blade may have broken off and sliced the front cabin off the fuselage. Engine parts hitting the tail and fuselage plus extreme stress could have broken off the tail portion.

We can only guesstimate about it. It will take 7-10 days for the black box information to be fully analysed. So best is to wait.

But whatever the cause it is a tragic event that should teach us to take precautions so that nothing like it can happen again.

For how long, you would be too late to start making once you start expecting sanctions, profitability isn't everything, you need to prepare the capability. We go for an engine that can be used in all of our medium size planes which would be an Airbus 320Neo size with a 2 meter turbofan.

We need to move up the technology ladder to not get trapped in the middle income trap. We are not good at microelectronics, we are not good at nuclear, neither are we at space tech. But aviation is an easier target, even Brazil can do it although without the engines. Foreign sales can improve over time once you become a reliable supplier.

You could very well say the same words for our Kaan program yet there we are flying it, and expecting the engine to also power it.
