A plausible scenario I read was Russians patrolling with drones in Black Sea because of the latest ship-hitting shenanigans, and some of them malfunctioned or got jinxed by EW and went into Turkey for some reason.

I cannot imagine what would be a Russian gain from flying some shitty drones into Turkey. Every top secret info is already open source or for sale by hackers already. If I put on my conspiracy hat, I'd say this is westoids trying to dive a wedge and disrupt our unique neutral-rivalry relationship. Which would make sense because I think they have the capability to direct low-grade Russian drones to just fly south by EW.

Passive radar range extenders.

You don't necessarily have to deal with it, just find out where it comes from and track it.

Then you can work on developing quad rotary drones with jamming devices or such to hunt down drones. And have them placed where military says they should be.

Find drone > load Mission info on quad > hunt-kill> take off from base(s) and hunt. > Send jandarma units out in vehicles equipped for drone hunt.

Russia i believe. We did buy some rights in maintaining the system thats why we bought spares and such but i think software related issues are out of our reach
Don't we give Russia then information about everything we track with the S400 system? Isn't that stupid?

But I have heard that we have a IFF-System on our own that is used as "overlay" for the S400 so the Russians don't get any information from our tracking.

I think many people haven't been able to connect the dots regarding how events unfolded, but from what I've observed, there's a chain of events suggesting that the appearance of Russian UAVs in our airspace wasn't a coincidence. My predictions may be right or wrong, but they all seem connected.

Last month, a Turkish C130 cargo plane returning to Türkiye from Azerbaijan crashed over Georgia. On the 9th of this month, an An-22 transport plane, which had taken off from Russia after maintenance, crashed, its tail section breaking apart.

A few days later, a Russian tactical bomber approached Turkish airspace over the Black Sea, and a Russian UAV was shot down after entering Turkish airspace. Following this, two more UAVs crashed in Turkish airspace, likely due to electronic warfare.

Two possibilities come to mind: either we're having a power struggle with Russia behind the scenes, or Ukraine/Western countries are secretly plotting to sow discord between Turkey and Russia... What do you think about this point ?

Either way, it's necessary to think of counter measures. Finding out from where the drones come is important. Don't forget that Ukraine is capable of hitting targets quite deep in Russia.

So we need to have proper surveillance/ radar system and monitoring in place.

Russia has recently suffered significant losses in its Black Sea fleet and Crimean air defense network, while two Turkish cargo ships en route to a Ukrainian port were struck. These events don't seem coincidental.

We know that the Russians sabotaged and destroyed the Turkish navy twice during the Ottoman era. If Türkiye is also uneasy about the strengthening Russian naval presence in the Black Sea, we may be in conflict behind the scenes. Another scenario is that Ukraine may be trying to draw Türkiye into the conflict.

Hisar A+ ( 15 km range and 10km altitude ) with that range is useless just use Sungur instead and produce more Hisar O+ / Siper .
Any news about more tests of Siper 2 ? Can we expect first half 2026 to be active service ?
Useless? Air defence doesn't just target planes, it can target drones, cruise missiles or ballistic missiles. There is a reason we call it a layered approach. It is all part of the air defence umbrella, and you can't have soldiers scanning the skies with a Sungur on their shoulders waiting to see a threat coming in.

I think what he meant was using expensive missiles for short range is ridiculous. Hence why it would be better to have shorad type using sungur and such missiles which are cheaper to make.

It depends on what you are defending with that system. And Hisar wouldn't just target everything willy nilly and as I said, you can't have the same coverage with just Sungur.
