Firstly the US does not ask Turkiye to invade or bomb Iran, that is already their long term strategy and groups / proxy like YPG / PKK / SDG (names change but it is the same entity) together with the Iraqi Kurd groups (KDP, PUK) will IMO form the US proxy for Iran.

Do you guys really think that US and Israel would stay this silent if this "Syrian collapse" of SDG was not a planned one? There were a few "clashes" for the show but we saw a coordinated retreat / gathering of the US proxy preparing for the new task -> Iran

I think Nutuk has a point worth brooding over. To be honest I was thinking after the collapse of SDF, we'd still be using next few years or more finding, mapping and demolishing those tunnels that has been dug.

And so far we only looked for tunnels around our borders and such. No one has been looking for tunnels on borders from Syria to Iraq, and I imagine it would be stupid to not have made such tunnel network for contingencies or other reasons.

I think it's necessary to develop rodent type drones to map tunnel network possibly using some sort of wire. this is of course after locating tunnels by drilling or other methods. And not send soldiers in.

Meanwhile the Syrians were being decimated for the past 14 years with relentless indiscriminate bombings. Kurds were living it up during the civil war. Yet the Syrians swept them away like they were absolutely nothing.

What power does Iraq have if the US installs bases in the Kurd areas? Stronger US has bases in Iraq, what do they do against it?

Between Iraq and Iran there is the Zagros mountain chain, PKK used these mountains for decades. Iran cannot even stop the passage even if they wanted too.

Syrian army is advancing towards Haseke. PKK wants to fight it seems. We should not allow there (especially given it will be more difficult for Syrian Army beyond Haseke towards Kamisli) a prolonged fight. It should be over within couple of days. Otherwise, there will be interference, either politically or militarily. For this, our special forces need to get involved. They can do this incognito, by dressing like Turkmens there. This is not only Syrian's fight. they may have chosen the easier way, especially after taking the oil fields they may have stopped fighting by giving more autonomy to YPG. But they are fighting, so we should help NOW.

Did you guys see anything else than small weapons caches that were left here and there by the SDG? Even the numberous tunnels were completely clean, no weapons.

Now, what happened to the big weapons? US has delivered the SDG insane amounts of weapons (thousand of trucks) through the years, including manpads and heavy armor. Almost none of that have been captured by the Syrian forces.

You may think: bwahhh, small detail. But no! This is an essential detail, were are the weapons?

Did all these weapons disappear magically?
