This is the only thing that doesn't make sense and has me scratching my head. If the aim is to show others we're this and that. why the hell reveal for all the world to see?

If it were real then it makes sense to show it. Take the context of something like syria, it creates a much bigger deterrent against the isrealis as Turkiye expands her footprint and holds off war, which is better for us in the short term. Its also a message to the french that they are within are striking range and such a missile alludes to "nuclear warheads". Ripley pretty much explained this.

So if it were real, then it makes sense.

The only other thing i can think is that the project is very real, but what they have shown is fake. What do i mean by this, Turks are saying to them we have these capabilities, but at the same time by showing an unrelated fake/mockup they are not giving away the real capabilities.

The danger of course that this is just a typical iranian style stunt designed for domestic consumption.

Since we don't have a history of these sorts of mega stunts, its not entirely clear to me what is going on.

Making bigger claims than what is actually being delievered do not create any additional political gains.
Who cares if you can hit at 6000 km range when all your opponents are within 3000 km range.

A ballistic missile with 3000km range can only hit its targets at low-mid-supersonic speeds because its engines will be shut off mid flight. A 6000km range ballistic missile can still have enough fuel allowing it to be high-supersonic or low-hypersonic in the terminal phase for the same range target. It's an important deterrant against countries like Israel who has capable ABM systems.

The bigger the missile the more the speed but you can have more of the smaller missiles to shoot as they are small and easier to handle and all, you need variety.

The UDMH+N2O4 liquid propellant has been developed and has entered mass production.

It has been in the works for over a decade.

The rocket engine's design was finalized last year.

The 3-ton warhead shares the same explosive filler as GAZAP and is about 10 times heavier.

The MOD (likely tomorrow) will hold a press conference. This is probably the announcement we've been waiting for all morning.

This information comes from the interviews the R&D Director of the Ministry of National Defense, Nilüfer Kuzulu, gave to the national press.

Baykar has signed an agreement with Indonesian company PT Republikorp for the Bayraktar KIZILELMA.

Under the agreement, 12 Bayraktar KIZILELMA Unmanned Combat Aircraft will be delivered to Indonesia starting in 2028.

We hope this agreement will contribute to further deepening the strategic defense industry cooperation between Türkiye and Indonesia.

You get the concept. TAF will decide the variety. All has their own uses.

This is the second biggest piece of BS of the fair, after the 42,000 lbf turbofan aero-engine. The extent to which this is the case is such that it undermines the reputation of the Turkish defence industry, rendering it a subject of mockery on the global stage to such a degree that it causes me to feel humiliated.

The MoD R&D department has hardly any personnel who are qualified to run this project over the "past" decade.

The MoD, via its R&D department, is jeopardising the image that the Turkish defence industry has built up over decades of hard work and dedication.

Yet, despite all, many professionals refrain from stating the fact that, technically it is a greater BS than it seems to be.

Anyone who backs the claims of the MoD's R&D department or takes part in these hollow propaganda projects is no different in my eyes to a traitor.

Yeah, right. Until they show a proper test footage, with its hit included, their word means nothing.

Not quite right explanation I am afraid.
As per @Zafer has stated, the bigger the mass at terminal stage the faster the missile hits it’s target

If you check the terminal velocity formula:

The cross section of the missile is important too. More perpendicular the missile approaches the better as it would decrease it’s silhouette.
As a generalisation for a ballistic missile, 60-70%of its mass is fuel. When the missile is in it’s ballistic downward motion it will have depleted it’s fuel

if you fire a 6000km range missile to a target that is 3000km away. You fire it at a more steep angle. It still depletes it’s fuel.

I mean it is really hard to believe, because it came out of the blue and there are other obvious reasons. But that woman doesn't seem like selling dreams. Here is an interview with her from last IDEF about NEB.
