GÜÇHAN TURBOFAN JET ENGINE

Our Ministry began work in the fields of liquid-fueled rocket engines and aircraft engines many years ago.

The GÜÇHAN Turbofan Jet Engine is a national jet engine with high thrust power, whose entire set of components was developed by the Ministry of National Defense Research and Development Center and produced entirely using domestic capabilities. The engine system was designed with original engineering solutions tailored to our country’s needs, and was developed with the goal of reducing foreign dependency in critical technologies while establishing sustainable indigenous capabilities.

Thanks to single-crystal technology, the resistance of engine components against high temperatures and intensive operating conditions has been enhanced, resulting in significant gains in efficiency, performance, and service life.

A total of six engines with 42,000 lbf (pound-force) thrust have been produced to date, and qualification testing of the engines is planned to be carried out within this year.

Throughout this process, rather than commercial concerns, our aim is to develop technology, build national capacity, and provide leadership to our defense industry companies.

With its institutional experience and engineering infrastructure, our Ministry will continue to develop indigenous, independent, and sustainable solutions in defense technologies, expand research and development activities, and contribute to our country’s strategic technology vision.

As much as I want to have a second promising maker working on some critical national projects I don't want to hear the lbf abbreviation be pronounced as libre feet.

The "rust" in compressor blades I saw in low resolution images may not be rust. I thought this is embarrassing they combined old rusty F110 parts together to make a fake engine was my honest initial response.

Then I saw yellow tinted coated blades next to Guchan.

Then they said they have been testing 6 engines in parallel and they are close to qualification this year for 42.000 lbf !!!
Then I saw a closer view of rusty blades in the air intake section. No it is not rust.

I think in recent images they are a yellow tinted blade coating I asked Grok about it. This is the response. @Nilgiri canenlighten us more but I think these coatings and other cutting edge improvements allowed a F-135 level thrust on same diameter size as F-135.

Now about why do we need TEI-35000?
I think stealth characteristics, dry thrust, electric production and service lifetime of TRMotor TEI-TF35000 could be better than Guchan.

That is most likely explanation as to why both projects are going in parallel . And MSB factories are actually military factories 4. kademe 5. kademe etc. You will never see them in news and they will never make info videos like TEI Aselsan etc. So that "secret" knowledge of military factories made believing this engine a bit harder for our twitter experts. But not me I worked at one of those factories.
