no ventral fins anymore
No ventral fins anymore. It is not minor aerodynamic change,I guess it effects many aerodynamic features, and it is also not reasonable after 500 hours of tests. The reason of last minute change is unknown, but I smell some marine version on their minds, for hard landing and also and issue for training. Same story as hürkuş,that I never expected from tusaş.I feel some anxiety on the face of test pilot.

Apparently, Ventral Fin at the rear fuselage is there for stability and better manoeuvrability especially during supersonic flight when the upper tail fin size is not enough. It is not possible to see from the pictures. But can it be that the upper tail fin is somewhat enlarged to compensate?
