Being able to fire on the go is a really crucial capability I love it, and the fact that it is on a vehicle we can easily mass produce if shit hits the fan. It can function in the frontline, accompanying armoured columns or supply convoys, it's great.

I do wish we would stop over-editing these videos though, "dramatic" cuts every 10 second, tension music straight out of the first page of Google search and a weird close up of the moon. Before long they'll be hiring Michael Bay to make them if they keep going like this.

And this vehicle has really high center of gravity, wonder how it would perform in the field.
It might not be that bad if it has armour underneath against IEDs or mines. Which exact vehicle is it btw?

İnteresting thing is the ammunition is not ATOM Smart. The ammunition is plain fragmantation bullets. Engages just on one thousand meters.

Siper Block 2

SİPER 2 has successfully tested its detection, tracking, guidance, and interception methods against multiple close-range targets at sea.

Following its launch, the missile was able to reach its intended target.🎯

Our indigenous and national systems, which play a critical role in the defense of our "skies" (Gök Vatan), continue to demonstrate and expand their capabilities.

The Hunter UAV TUNGA-X, developed by STM, successfully destroyed an enemy UAV element with pinpoint accuracy during the TURNAs-2026 exercise, thanks to radar and image-guided integration.

During the TURNAs-2026 Unmanned Naval Systems Exercise carried out by the Turkish Naval Forces Command in the Gulf of Antalya and the Eastern Mediterranean, STM's Hunter UAV TUNGA-X successfully completed its mission to intercept a simulated enemy UAV element. With the support of radar and image guidance, TUNGA-X tracked its target and destroyed the enemy UAV element in mid-air with a precise strike.

National Hunter UAV Reaching Speeds of 300 Kilometers Per Hour

Developed by STM, the TUNGA-X is designed to protect critical facilities and military units, especially against low-cost kamikaze UAV threats. The system, which can reach speeds of 300 kilometers per hour, works integrated with UAV detection radars to track threats in real time. Standing out with its autonomous target tracking based on image processing and precision strike capabilities, TUNGA-X offers a cost-effective prevention solution against asymmetric aerial threats.

Thanks to its vertical takeoff feature that does not require a launcher, TUNGA-X can start missions from different platforms and operate both day and night. With an operational range of up to 25 kilometers, the system aims to contribute to Turkey's defense capabilities against unmanned aerial threats with its autonomous mission abilities and advanced sensors.

As part of the Distinguished Observer Day for TURNAs-2026, the TOLGA 20 mm Twin-Barrel Revolver Gun System—capable of a firing rate of 3,200 rounds per minute—conducted live-fire engagements against UAV and USV targets from the TCG BEYKOZ, marking its first successful engagement from a naval platform.

Aselsan probably broke a record about how much their shares keep losing value despite signing agreements worth hundreds of millions to billions of euros again and again.
Currently the Aselsan shares sits at around 330 TL region.. But it needs to be remembered that…..

There is a shortage of working capital.
The orders and backlog are huge. They may be as much as 23 billion dollars. The cash/capital needed to realise these is sitting at a third of the total order amount, which Aselsan doesn't have. Already it is draining the available capital at unsustainable rates.

On top of it there is the new Ankara Ogulbey site construction that has been sucking close to 1.5 billion dollars.

Turnover and cash is tied to physical deliveries. No deliveries no new cash!

TL’s current volatility and Aselsan being in an emerging market doesnt help it either.
Also the current high interest environment that Aselsan operates, doesn't help the situation. It makes it very hard to operate with long term projects.

Lingering sanctions like CAATSA has a negative effect too. So overall it is probably trading 1/3rd reduction of its actual value.

But with help from local means and government help and the prospective business opportunities in the horizon, the share price should recover to levels of 450 TL going forward.
