This caught my attention in the video. Bad news for those who think the age of tanks is over. Aselsan surprised again.

As far as I know, they are working on that project since 15 years.

Turkey is most probably going to use it in Fac-55 project too.. they specifically mentioned there the low heat signature..
It is not much of a concern on ships. The sea water is used for cooling most of the needed parts.
And they will need to cover all steel-metallic plates with it, steel tends to heat up under direct sunlight,if intended to be used for mimicking smaller or larger platforms.

It is possible to say that priority will be given to tanks due to threats caused by both ATGM and UCAVs. Especially the fact that the turret has been integrated in the assembly line shows that this technology has been studied for a long time.

Turkey is now a major exporter of UCAV.

Vestel Defense will produce Vestel Karayel SU SİHA in Saudi Arabia with the AEC company based in Saudi Arabia and the name of this configuration will be HABOOB. HABOOB will use MAM-L like Karayel SU. It is planned to produce 40 units of UCAV between 2021-2025.

Bayraktar TB2 UCAV to Ukraine, Qatar, Azerbaijan
ANKA-S UAV to Tunisia
Karayel SU UCAV was exported to Saudi Arabia.

Oman: Plans to strengthen armament relations with Turkey

Sultan Haitham of Oman is said to be planning to strengthen the Omani-Turkish armament relations by concluding new agreements in several military fields.

Tactical Report has prepared a 492-word report to shed more light on this subject and on the types of Turkish-made weapons and equipment that Oman is looking to acquire.

?? Hope they did not blow another factory
I think MKEK works on 76mm air deffence air burst ammunition and gun system that could take down a tactical UAV at high attitude with its fire which is cheap, would also work as close in weapon for ships.. also 155mm guided artillery ammunition coming soon ;)

If the STM "next generation" Milgem concept is on scale it must be a huge ship about same size of TF2000, aprox. 170m long.

I start to wonder whether the TF2000 design is going to be scrapped and replaced by STM Milgem design

MKE is about to sign a contract for a coating technology that increases barrel life by 5-6 times. So the point is not what you think.
Correction: Barrel is not just the coating of the rifle barrels. Every kind of caliber you can think of is included.

all big countries move to using 76mm as close in weapon. i think Turkey will also move to there... as supersonic and other weapon get used a lot, 4km is not enough, its only 3-4 seconds, what if several cruise missiles comes at the same time? so ships want to accept those threats far away.., with 76mm they can shoot from 14km away especially if designed with air burst ammunition, even one bullet could be enough, so it could stop way more before getting reloding

I could not see VLS on the new ship design.
