Nice find, I was wondering what those tiles were for.from this picture its clear that Aselsan is working on Adaptive camouflage like BAE.. They even developed it and testing on products or even already install on modernization projects of Leo 2 tanks.
This caught my attention in the video. Bad news for those who think the age of tanks is over. Aselsan surprised again.from this picture its clear that Aselsan is working on Adaptive camouflage like BAE.. They even developed it and testing on products or even already install on modernization projects of Leo 2 tanks.
Turkey is most probably going to use it in Fac-55 project too.. they specifically mentioned there the low heat signature..for details..
As far as I know, they are working on that project since 15 years.from this picture its clear that Aselsan is working on Adaptive camouflage like BAE.. They even developed it and testing on products or even already install on modernization projects of Leo 2 tanks.
It is not much of a concern on ships. The sea water is used for cooling most of the needed parts.Turkey is most probably going to use it in Fac-55 project too.. they specifically mentioned there the low heat signature..
It is possible to say that priority will be given to tanks due to threats caused by both ATGM and UCAVs. Especially the fact that the turret has been integrated in the assembly line shows that this technology has been studied for a long time.Turkey is most probably going to use it in Fac-55 project too.. they specifically mentioned there the low heat signature..
And Libya (GNA)Turkey is now a major exporter of UCAV.
Vestel Defense will produce Vestel Karayel SU SİHA in Saudi Arabia with the AEC company based in Saudi Arabia and the name of this configuration will be HABOOB. HABOOB will use MAM-L like Karayel SU. It is planned to produce 40 units of UCAV between 2021-2025.
Bayraktar TB2 UCAV to Ukraine, Qatar, Azerbaijan
ANKA-S UAV to Tunisia
Karayel SU UCAV was exported to Saudi Arabia.
Suudi Arabistan KARAYEL-SU İHA üretimine başladı | SavunmaSanayiST
Suudi Arabistan KARAYEL-SU Silahlı İnsansız Hava Aracı’nın yerli olarak üretim faaliyetlerine başladı. SİHA, AEC şirketi tarafından yerli olarak üretilecek.www.savunmasanayist.com
?? Hope they did not blow another factory
It seems MKE tested something big.
I think MKEK works on 76mm air deffence air burst ammunition and gun system that could take down a tactical UAV at high attitude with its fire which is cheap, would also work as close in weapon for ships.. also 155mm guided artillery ammunition coming soon?? Hope they did not blow another factory
MKE is about to sign a contract for a coating technology that increases barrel life by 5-6 times. So the point is not what you think.I think MKEK works on 76mm air deffence air burst ammunition and gun system that could take down a tactical UAV at high attitude with its fire which is cheap, would also work as close in weapon for ships.. also 155mm guided artillery ammunition coming soon
all big countries move to using 76mm as close in weapon. i think Turkey will also move to there... as supersonic and other weapon get used a lot, 4km is not enough, its only 3-4 seconds, what if several cruise missiles comes at the same time? so ships want to accept those threats far away.., with 76mm they can shoot from 14km away especially if designed with air burst ammunition, even one bullet could be enough, so it could stop way more before getting relodingIf the STM "next generation" Milgem concept is on scale it must be a huge ship about same size of TF2000, aprox. 170m long.
I start to wonder whether the TF2000 design is going to be scrapped and replaced by STM Milgem design
Guided artillery shell, it was already known to be under development but don't know who supports MKEK for the guidance part (Could be Aselsan)?? Hope they did not blow another factory
I could not see VLS on the new ship design. If the STM "next generation" Milgem concept is on scale it must be a huge ship about same size of TF2000, aprox. 170m long.
I start to wonder whether the TF2000 design is going to be scrapped and replaced by STM Milgem design
