I remember when Cirit was first introduced years ago and how proud I felt that Turkish brains have produced such a formidable weapon able to compete with the big shots with decades of experience and manufacturing advantages.
Now, when I look at the types of different munition our companies producing for a wide range of purposes, I have nothing but awe and admiration.

Guys i don't want to ruin the topic but in my humble opinion we also need less than SOM more than UMTAS missiles like SPEAR 3. The spear 3 is crazy cruise missile while it has little turbo jet engine which gives 100km range. Mini cruise missile with 100km range. Turkish Navy , TurAF would like and use it immensely.
We get SPEAR 3 when we integrate Aselsan Miniature Bomb with a engine with a performance of TJ300 but only half weight. For now, however, the priority will be the surface to surface version of the Miniature Bomb.

KGK-er will have rocket engine however it is bounded an aircraft to reach long range.

I've no clue about Kuzgun. Does it have jet engine like cruise missiles?
KGK-er most likely have small turbojet engine.Just like JSOW-ER

Kuzgun have so many variants...One of them turbojet

Maybe it has been done before, I could not find it. I have gathered some specs from open sources and compared the Spear 3 to Tubitak Kuzgun

Spear 3 vs Kuzgun (they have great similarities)

Mass: 100kg; 100kg
length: 1.8m; 1.8m
diam. : 180mm; ?
range: 120-140km; 110km
Propulsion: Turbojet; glide (turbojet version in development)
Guidance: Inertial, GPS, Millimetric Wave and SAL; INS,GPS, SAL and IIR

The Spear 3 has more range due to a micro turbo jet, seen the picture above of the Kuzgun with side air inlet Tubitak must be developing a version with Turbo jet too. So both missiles are analogue almost the same.

Also here the free fall / glide version is probably more intended for drones like Aksungur and Akinci.

Will become a great valuable missile in our inventory and may even surpass the fame of MAM-L

Either TJ90 or TJ35 could fit in 180mm diameter body.

Bro, I searched this missile and found an engine called Tj-150 which is powering this missile. Tj-150 has a diameter of 272mm and 1500N (too much for a missile having 100kg weight) thrust. In specifications of Spears-3, diameter of missile are written as 180mm. Something is wrong here.

off topic just by coincidence I run into SPEAR-EW which loiters while carrying out its jamming mission with miniaturised EW payload
I would rather put it on som type of missiles... or if i send 15 missiles, one of them could be equipped with EW head

Please also note that Kuzgun is not just a jet or rocket propelled missile.
It is a modular construction missile. It can be used in many forms ;
1. Air to ground : solid fuelled rocket, jet engined rocket, gliding bomb (as jdam), winged gliding bomb (as HGK)
2. From Sea or surface , to surface : either from a submarine or from a ship with a solid fuelled rocket or jet engine to another ship or to a ground target.
3. from ground to , ground or sea targets with a rocket or jet engine.

Therefore it is a missile which will have various seeker heads for precision strikes.
Most importantly , though, it is a cheap missile to use.

i think it will have one engine, only the heads will change...
you cannot just switch to difference propulsion system as you wish with the same size..

I was watching this video about the YF-23 Stealth fighter(absolutely love the design) and was surprized to see our "air-to-air missile" made it into the video at 11:15 xD

The new “Lacin” missile ; effectively a Teber missile with new seeker head when later fitted with wing-kit , will increase range from 28km to 100km. This new missile has a newly developed IIR/TV guidance seeker that is superior to the ones used before and can target and hit slow moving objects as well. This makes it a strategic weapon.

I don’t quite get how it will be a replacement of Popeye missile!
This is is a free fall glide bomb in essence. It has no propulsion. If dropped from ~40000 ft, as is, it has a gliding range of around 28km. However as it can also have a wing-kit, it’s range would exceed 100km in free fall.
Popeye missile has jet engine propulsion with a range of 70-80km with a 340kg warhead. Lacin missile at the moment has 87kg explosives. But with a MK83 bomb I guess you could use this, and have 202kg of explosive weight.
Lacin missile can be used for the same purpose as a Popeye I guess , with a wing-kit and we would have a missile that has better guidance, longer range, less RCS and is much cheaper than Popeye; yet achieving a similar result. But not really a replacement!
I would think of SOM as a better replacement of Popeye!

Seems like you just argued the reason as to why it will be a good replacement to popeye :)

SOM was already integrated in f-4E phantom 2020 and the last time Popeye was used was in 2018 in op olive branch

Yes! SOM was integrated to f4-2000‘s as Popeye replacement. But Popeyes were used in olive branch because they were probably way past their shelf life and needed to be expended.
