Considering Typhoon is a multinational project, if Turkey wanted to purchase this aircraft from the UK, can the other members of the consortium veto the sale?

Yes, Germany didn't deliver parts for KSA typhoon back in the days.

Structural improvements of the F-16 Block 30 aircraft continue.
In the project, where engineering works are carried out for the renovation and revision of 1200-1500 pieces of structural parts per aircraft, repair and replacement and body reinforcement applications are carried out where necessary.
With the project carried out by TUSAŞ, we aim to increase the structural life of our F-16 aircraft, the main striking element of our air force, from 8000 hours to 12000 hours.

They have opened the nose. I wonder if a new AESA radar is to be fitted?

That is on average ~15 years of extra flying if TurAF maintains 150 flight hours per year per pilot and 1.5 pilots per fighter-ratio.

The F-16 with visible serial numbers in that video are imo not Block 30 aircraft, but block 40&50 because of their serial numbers not corresponding with those of the Block 30. Source: https://www.f-16.net/f-16_users_article21.html

Is there a time limit to LM having jurisdiction over our f16’s. I seem to remember reading somewhere that after 30 years we can start altering or adding parts without LM‘s permission.
Is this true I wonder?
If true; Then block 30’s are all available and block 49 planes will be available gradually till 2024-25.

I read that somewhere too, and have posted about it but can't remember exactly where I got it from. It makes sense though, but I have no proof for that.

One of the most pro-Russian Turkish accounts out there.

He isnt the sole source reporting it tho. One of the primary reasons why our nation aquired the S-400 was because the mischief the americans caused with the PKK and their embargoes. That trend is now back under Biden so such rumours like procurement of Russian weapon systems are worth to observe.

The government is trying hard to get the Americans to talk S400 and you think they would dare to buy Russian aircraft?

SU35 and the SU57 can be just as formidable but the problem is how they are going to get them intergrated into the Turkish airforce.
