maybe because our KCR-60 not compatible/cannot accept a naval gun with hull penetrating ammo rack/storage , that's why we go with 57mm RCWS turret instead of A-220M Naval gun .... , or either because chinese FCR/CMS cannot be integrated with A220M naval gun , that's why the AU-220M have dedicated Electro Optical targeting instead ....So we are first customer to use AU-220M. Maybe it is purchased as a RCWS in place of the machine guns?maybe because our KCR-60 not compatible/cannot accept a naval gun with hull penetrating ammo rack/storage , that's why we go with 57mm RCWS turret instead of A-220M Naval gun .... , or either because chinese FCR/CMS cannot be integrated with A220M naval gun , that's why the AU-220M have dedicated Electro Optical targeting instead ....
What documentsThe worse that survey vessel might do is mapping our seaI hope all the important document can be secured, we should watch the salvage operation carefully preventing those ppl doing some sneaky sneaky.
the a220m naval gun version like this one .Maybe it is purchased as a RCWS in place of the machine guns?
I can't recall deck of KCR 60 but i think the deck is alredy penetrated to fit the gun foundation, and i doubt if they would purpose the area below as something else, but maybe ammo/chain store.
It would be better to cling by Bofors and Otomelara for the main cannon. Guided ER shells with a western CMS can be force multiplier of these boats in the future.
Russian RCWS variant fits better to non-strategic platforms with a single cannon and without CMS, like tank boat and KCR -40, Bakamla patrol vessels etc. i think?
this new 57mm technically a deck penetrating too , but instead they are creating "make a do" way for the ship that doesn't have much space under the deck so that's why they include that enormous superstructure under the gun for the ammo storage.Maybe it is purchased as a RCWS in place of the machine guns?

I rather meant, the deck was already penetrated* and there is an opening for foundation and gun driving equipment. What could they be storing on the space below the deck?the a220m naval gun version like this one .

requires a large section under the deck for ammo stowage like the 76mm otomelara , and they have elevator system under the deck to bring munition to the gun itself
"А-220М gun fires case ammunitions developed for S-60 with 53-UOR-281U HE projectiles. There are 400 rounds in the magazine; the rest munitions can be stored in special racks under the deck. The munitions are fed from the magazine by the feed screw through a transferring mechanism to the collector connected with the vertical elevator. From the elevator receiver the munitions are transferred to the harp transporter of the gun unit."

unlike the bofors 57mm which only need a gun mount and the ammunition are simply stored inside turret cupola (which are a little drawback during loading process) .

perhaps KCR-60 does not have that much space under the deck , since the previous weapon used in the ship bow are old bofors 40mm with cupola which is also a non deck penetrating gun .

burevestnik website does said this gun will have guided projectileI rather meant, the deck was already penetrated* and there is an opening for foundation and gun driving equipment. What could they be storing on the space below the deck?
*Just checked KCR-60 from your pictures and others, again it looks like there isn't a deck opening but gun is installed right above the deck. In other applications on other ships i have seen they have buried the foundation below deck level, with an opening, placed-integrated on structural members to improve stealth features.
I still don't change my other arguments by the way, if selecting a new weapon it is better if is it selected from a manufacturer which also offers guided/ER shells.
So the Russian gun is not for the 3rd batch then? Or are they planning a 4th batch?burevestnik website does said this gun will have guided projectile

not disagreeing with you either , if i have to choose then i would choose bofors 57mm mk3 over this , the next batch will use bofors 57mm though .
when the alugoro was inaugurated , i think i used to post background with two KCR-60 on berth/wharf having some of it's bow section covered in blue tent .So the Russian gun is not for the 3rd batch then? Or are they planning a 4th batch?
This is told be developed and tested but i really doubt if it was ever used on field too, i didn't happen to find an application against a moving target (as claimed) but guidance is rather for course correction and lowering dispersion:

this one , looks like 628 and 629 are the one who receiving this new russian 57mm system
are they installing the bofors 57mm ?
3 years ago there is a rumour about TNI AL plan to replace the main weapon of KCR 60M. The candidates include Burevestnik's 57 mm А-220М.someone already posted the photo in alutsista indonesia just recently .

i do hope in the future all 3 service would standardize their utility truck, using something like MAN HX or TATRA Truck who can be up armored easily if needed.
Hopefully there will be no more batangkelapa armor.

other (cheaper?) option maybe using modified commercial truck as basis for our utility truck, i.e. using Hino500 family with modified modular cab or something like that.
Difficult to maintain. Both MAN and TATRA aren't commonly found in commercial application in Indonesia. Daimler on the other hand have strong presence in Indonesia, and plenty of commercial mechanics & spare parts ready for maintaining themi do hope in the future all 3 service would standardize their utility truck, using something like MAN HX or TATRA Truck who can be up armored easily if needed.

From logistical perspective yes, but from engine performance not so much. If you need heavy-duty truck you can't go wrong with DaimlerIsuzu or Hino just suit us better, from logistic point of view
I thinks TNI could ask BPPT to do design study for armored cabin truck with lighter material and ask Pindad or local "karoseri" to produce it, it could standardized TNI truck armor and we didn't need coconut tree or improvised metal armor from TNI's workshop during combat operation.i do hope in the future all 3 service would standardize their utility truck, using something like MAN HX or TATRA Truck who can be up armored easily if needed.

WHEN that overprice magical lightweight armour began full of bullets hole along with the person on the other side bleeding from combat wound, that coconut tree is something one really look for. Doesn't matter they doesn't look pretty, as long they work (not to mention free / gratis)we didn't need coconut tree or improvised metal armor from TNI's workshop during combat operation.
