We need rapid integrated missile defense systems. Look you can fire from this launchers Sidewinder AIM-9-X , Stinger, Hellfire, Hydra rockets subject to your mission. Currently i am fan of this because great solution for logistic. You could apply both in naval and land platforms. Moreover for us Bozdoğan IR missiles will be common mass produced missile.

İmagine the missiles were Bozdoğans, SUNGURs and OMTASs on Compact naval vessels, ada class and old frigates.
Ada Classes with 2 launcher of 6 Gökdoğans, several Sungurs and 20mm Gatling guns.... İt could be also applied on old frigates which just have semi-active old gen ESSMs as Bozdoğan much more capable.

Gökhan can be translated as Sky khan or celestial khan. As stated multiple times another missile will be revealed at IDEF in August. Candidates are anti-ship version of Bora ballistic missile, ramjet anti-ship missile/ramjet cruise missile for high-value intensely protected targets, Gezgin cruise missile. I doubt Gezgin will be revealed at the moment.

2023 will be a huge year for the Turkish defense industry.

1000 HGK-82 kits will be delivered in a year. 3 different production lines in 3 different companies (Asfat, Aselsan, Kale) can produce guided freefall munitions. Up to 3000 JDAM+JSOW equivalent can be produced each year in peacetime.

New production batches of HGK and KGK variants will use national GPS/INS(Kaşif GPS/Atlas INS) and anti-jamming CRPA antenna (controlled reception pattern antenna).

In fact when asked about our ambitions and work carried out for Ramjet engines, he said the ambition and next stage now is not Ramjet but Scramjet!

AFAIK Okumus stated that they were not working on a solid-fuel ramjet which indicated that there was no ramjet air-to-ar missile in the works. It seems that things have changed or Tubitak is going to use liquid fuel ramjet for the Gokhan.

We all know the difficulties and downsides of liquid fuelled missiles. Shelf-life, preparation before launching, stocking of missile are not as easily tackled as solid fuelled missiles.
Brahmos on the other hand is a liquid fuelled Ramjet engined missile with a solid fuelled discardable booster stage.
Yet Meteor has an integrated solid fuelled nozzle-less booster stage which helps missile reach the required initial speed for solid fuelled Ramjet to kick in.
I wonder if Tubitak Sage was already developing a solid fuelled Ramjet in secrecy and Hulusi Akar let the cat out?
