Type 26 i found is quite expensive for the kind of type warships far more than FREMM or even compared to the Aegis equipped Frigates or Destroyer, maybe this one of the reason

The reasoning is coming from Ministry of fisheries and ocean which stated each year Indonesia can get at least or more than 30 Billion US Dollar worth revenue from our ocean resources (that's far more value if we are including our Offshore drilling business, fisheries resources like prawn, fish, and other, then trade movements by sea which can garnered additional revenue from tax and port usage fee, not to mention industry which depend on ocean like shipyard, repair workshop, and among other) so it is reasonable enough to provide funds for security of our Air space and Naval area.
